Seems ol’ Blizz is tossing whatever they can to the player base so they don’t jump ship. This, the new “hard mode Classic”, etc. etc. etc.
Here is an Idea… BOBBY AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS… Please stay the heck out of WoW, you have turned this game since you took over Blizzard. You are horrible at running a company as you let down your workforce with these lawsuits, laughably paid out a tiny fraction of $18 million, and now top exec’s are getting sued as well.
How about making something new that isn’t some system that will be dropped on next expansion, endlessly promoting your store, Nickle and dimeing your customers, etc. etc. etc. Corporate Greed is too Rampant in the past 20 years and at some point i hope the majority of your customers wake up.
If i get banned for my opinions above. so be it. I have i think 2 months left and it won’t hurt me in anyway, as all i was doing are Korthia dailies and those have become a bore after day 3.
All except the healers and a few caster ones that I never played think fire mage and maybe arcane mage.
Also I think an acceptable compromise would be if someone does the full 36/36 new achieve they can use them since it would make them have to know every class and spec and spend a huge amount of time doing fights that are probably tuned harder than they were on throne patch.
Also my reply was because you implied resentment when I simply want other people to be able to have the appearances as well despite having them myself.
So… how many do you have? I have 27, everything except for the three classes I don’t play. Which is enough to not matter who has more.
Well, Blizzard already compromised. They brought the tower back with different rewards. That’s the compromise.
I’m not implying anything. There are tons of people in this forum who don’t have the skins and are resentful. If you’re not in that category, then I wasn’t addressing it to you.
That’s a subjective opinion. A couple of those armor sets will be highly coveted by me. See this is the problem- you think you get to decide for everyone else what is and isn’t a consequential reward, and you don’t.
Yes it is. The original option was bring the tower back or don’t bring the tower back. A lot of people didn’t want the tower back, and various people did. So the compromise was to bring it back with different rewards. See that’s what compromise is, giving everybody a little bit of what they want but giving nobody everything.
Most have admitted what? That they want the original appearances? I’m aware. See above regarding compromise.
Btw this pool was purely for bringing the old rewards back without any other solution, but several people against that already conceded that they would accept either making new tints for the MT appearences, preserving the OG tints as removed from the game, like they are doing to the Werebear, or making a new tint for the people who got it back then and release the old ones for everyone.
If the pool was “Should Blizzard give the Werebear treatment to all specs?” the pool and the community would be much more welcoming to the idea.
Not only that but Bellular already said previously that he was against bringing them back, so his audience already had his influence but the pool still turned out like that.
And if you consider all other media like youtube, reddit and others, the number would be much higher.
While that is true. It is also true that there was literally no difference completing magetower day 1 with 900 itemlevel + sephuz as moonkin and ilvl 960 later on and 2 legendaries. Same goes for affliction warlock. The tower was not correctly balanced whole expansion long as most had it super hard day 1 / tier 1… some like these had it super easy from the beginning.
I don’t like it because the reward doesn’t fit the mage tower, initial mage tower reward structure was simple and easy. Do a challenge get a weapon appearance, this one is do a challenge, once on your main class and then swap to an alt, you can mix and match a bit if you really want the book but this reward structure could have been from torghast twisting corridor’s floor 12 as easliy as it could have been the mage tower. It doesn’t take advantage of the mage tower’s simple premise of using each spec on your character for a reward.
They are tints of already available and farmable sets and most of them are bad tints that weren’t in the original batch for a reason. Now if they actually did the tints matching black temple color scheme but with the mythic appearances that would be cool but most of them are just awful. Maybe 1% of people were asking for the mage tower back just to do it pretty much everyone has always been open about wanting the unique and cool looks. So no it’s not a compromise in the slightest.
