Rend 6 second timer is stupiud and needs changing

Orrrrrr what you do is fly to Xroads. Give up only ~1 min of your buff duration for the short flight. Then you can log off in the inn there and wait for the Nova World Buffs alert in guild chat just like ZG and Ony. Because you get a few extra seconds in Xroads.

You still have to be fast because it’s only like 5-6 more seconds, so if you’re waiting on an alt, you need to be somewhere with instant logout. But you will make it if you see the alert then instantly log out and onto the toon you are getting Rend on. What happens is Org will drop, then Herald of Thrall will yell in the Barrens, then it will drop in Xroads.

Can see my post right above this one. : )

It already is about 15 seconds (well maybe a couple seconds shorter)—if you go to the Xroads.

It wasn’t intended on being a raid buff… Neither were the head buffs… Apparently the zg buff may have been.

Nova world buffs and a server discord make it almost impossible to miss a rend drop off you’re paying attention. Just head to Orgrimmar before the cool down drops.

Clearly Horde favoritism

Some servers have a discord where buffs are coordinated with scheduling. Sometimes there is. Ninja drops because some people do not believe in discord or just wanna be a total Oof…

Always get songflower last dummy. And stop crying about losing 5 mins off a buff while trying to min max your min max. Cringe

Ya the attack speed buff is sick butttt assuming you have summoners ready to go, rend -> summon to and pick flower-> summon to raid/log off.

Seems like a more efficient approach

LOL. comparing a wb that disappears after one death to a renewable god buff. OK…

These dummys talking like 15% haste and a measly 30 stam is actually that good for the vast majority of players… oh and its just for an hour.

You’re right, it should just go off instantly so people don’t have to wait to get it.

15% haste IS absolutely enormous. It dramatically boosts rogues and warriors. Haste effects like that don’t decrease proc rates either so you get tons more procs of weapon enchants and windfuries and moar rage. I haven’t done the math but my gut instinct tells me it is far stronger for raid dps increase than BoK is.

I’ll still prefer BoK since it can just be reapplied after dying, but to say Rend is weak would be asinine.

Im not calling it weak, im calling it a wb that is only being worthwhile used by a third of raiders, that goes away after one death. Im saying BoK > Rend all day.

Ha, complaining about the function of an obviously unintended exploit is like breaking into someone’s house, opening their safe, and then complaining to the homeowner that the money you’re stealing from them is in $20 bills instead of $100 bills. :slightly_smiling_face:

Its 15 seconds from Xroads.

/thread

WCB is a bout a 10% dps increase for a warrior. Kings is about a 2-3% increase. Windfury is about a 5% increase. Thats not even getting into Berzerking, Blood Fury etc.

Horde have an advantage everywhere but threat, which really shouldn’t be an issue anymore anyway.

maybe but BoK < rend+windfury

Sit at the quest giver.

It’s 6 seconds because that’s how it was in vanilla.

Out of the 10 fastest AQ clears, 2 are Horde. You can see clear tactical advantages in vods thanks to salv.

This is straw man reasoning and goes against the spirit of the game. You act as if every change gets applause. No, you’re wrong. Doesn’t matter if some things have been changed, that doesn’t mean everyone gets their own changes added to the game.

#NotYourChanges

The fact that the buffs weren’t intended to be used this way is all the reason Blizzard needs to NOT change it.

There’s literally no incentive for them to take the time and man power to make that change. None.
