His dialogue is about saving beautiful damsels. Calling them “dwellers” puts less emphasis on his attraction to them. A “damsel” is a young unmarried woman. This new term is gender-neutral.

It really makes no sense.
These words are not inherently negative, and are a part of history and a staple of many fantasy worlds.

This kind of thing is just feeding the slippery slopers frothing at the mouth over all the recent changes.

If you really dont understand why they are doing these things I can help… players have long been complaining of blizzards negligence in its management of the game/franchise, turns out its not just in game content but its business practices as well that are that way. At the next AGM there is likely to be a vote to not issue any performance rights or bonuses to the executive team and probably restructure them to much less favorable terms. Is about optics, about being able to say to the people that give you money “see we did something about are and are committed to keep doing something”.

It is not that they will prevent you from making those jokes in your chat or discord server .
