SoM was launched during TBC at it’s peak. The timing that awful. Most people didn’t even level characters to 60 because of TBC and literally just finishing classic vanilla, season of anything was doomed to failure due to timing.
The raid changes were overwhelmingly popular among the players who actually made it to 60.

It wasn’t corrected. You can literally do it right now. The oversight wasnt that they could get the world buff, the oversight was that they could be feared UNDER ogrimmar and SW to get the buffs when MC’d and the MC wouldn’t break on LoS. with the added oversight that alliance players just straight up didnt get the same buff.
Blizzard themselves admitted many imbalances were straight up oversights that they didnt realize happened
Hell the best example other than this is a hunter player literally asking a dev who worked on hunters and pets why their pet cant tank, got told they could, and then got smacked with the proof that no, pets couldnt tank because the oversight was not giving the talent enough of a percentage to tank.
You know what happened? They fixed it in TBC
You whining about that doesn’t change what it is. Yes. They did elect to not give alliance the buff. That is precisely why it didn’t exist. They tried something new in SoD, and ported it over to classic era and HC too thinking people would like that its being fairly distributed, and they whined Exactly like you are now and it was taken back out of those two modes of the game.

I mean if people dont want WBs they dont have to use them. Its that simple. Why do I have to be forced to play your way when currently we can both be happy and play how we want. Removing WBs removes my playstyle.
The reason people likely wanted that was (more than likely because WL is used now) that they couldnt get good parses to get invited to groups (cause yes who cares about parses in classic other than bad pug leaders).
Its such a dumb complaint cause like…of course people who are using BIG stat/damage buffs like wb that you are refusing to use are going to parse higher than you just on principal. Want to do big damage like them? Get the world buffs.
They want their cake and to eat it too. They want to be carried without doing any work.
