I’ve seen this argument but it really feels like the drip-feeding is driving people away.
yeah this sounds great but then literally the same day of such a change, the whiners will roll in complaining that everyone else already has 10k points but they only have 15 minutes to play in a day so how on earth is that fair! It’s a slap in the face!
The same people will then say, “well, with the cap in place it means my one day off is useless because I can’t get anymore points! I only have 1 day off in the whole year and that’s it! What a slap in the face!”
Can’t get the best loot from m+ or pvp week 1 if you’re not good at the game.
Don’t they already do this?
If they remove the valor and conquest caps they’ll also need to remove the weekly raid lockout, and just let us kill the raid bosses for loot over and over again as many times as we want. They’d also need to quadruple the drop rates in raids to make raiding on par with other forms of content in terms of reward to time investment.
Maybe they should do it all the time but after a month or two. I didn’t want to waste my valor when I needed it for future rewards because it was a capped currency. So if they had let us know it was going to be uncapped later in the season I would have used it when I needed to.
I like the idea of it being an ongoing thing (at the end of 9.2 I hope they do the same thing).
