60 twink. Not a 19 twink that only kills new players in green and white gear.
And those level 19 twink videos I see always go 1v1. That video is level 60 going 1 v 5 or more.
Twinking requires a max level account with massive amounts of gold.
This is not enjoyable as a leveling character.
Just go fight other twinks in your own bracket.
Gear up or get over yourself.
REMINDER: World of Warcraft was released 18 years ago and you are reading a thread complaining about twinks made in 2022.
Separate brackets is what killed Retail BGs and stopped brackets from flourishing. Twinking is why we play the game. Everyone is a Twink because when you hit 80 thatâs what you doâŚTwink your character.
Taking a break from leveling to Twink and enjoy a bracket not only helps you learn your Spec but itâs one of the best parts of PvP. Enjoy having it.
I certainly canât speak on all brackets, but I can speak on 49s. Right now, entry is easier than ever due to the cost of enchants being an all time low. Lets say you wanted to level through a warrior as arms or prot. The difference between AH gear and a few dungeon pieces is negligible. You could completely build your character with a quick trip to AH and 50 gold. Enchants are dirt cheap thanks to the influx of people leveling alts and professions during the 50% buff. Not to mention the added benefit of having that gear for some levels after playing through the bracket.
I did bgs as I leveled through on a resto druid in 39s. I didnât que until after level 35, I bought a few cheap pieces and enchants from AH (maybe 20 gold spent total), and had an absolute blast being completely competitive. Realize that just like end game pvp, all the lower brackets are the same regarding dependency on level and gear.
Many twinks do. 19s, 39s, and 49s have done plenty of wargames in the past. Iâm not sure if 29s have, but wouldnât surprise if they had too. If your argument was true then wargames would have never happened.
The bottom line is this; get decent gear through AH/quests or a few dungeons, a few cheap enchants, and you will be competitive vs twinks. Enchants are level bound, there is no leg enchant, helm, or shoulder enchants. Twinkingâs disparity between levelers is lower than ever. It is just geared players playing in lower brackets at this point.
Twinking is just a part of the game and half the time it works in your favor anyways. Youâre leveling any way so you donât see them for long.

agreed. I wont touch bgs until max level because of twinks that cant compete with out gear not meant for their level.
Since youâre obviously a very intelligent player, perhaps you can explain how anybody competes with âgear not meant for their levelâ.

low level bgs are meant for new players that dont have that kind of gold for max level enchants. If you need to 1 shot people to make yourself feel better about pvp in this game have at it. there is 2 simple things they they can do to fix twinks. Either force exp off people to only fight other exp off people or make it where you get exp in bgs even with exp off.

Its still a good chunk of gold that a new player will not even be cloe to at that level. Twinks these days dont want wargames and tournaments like they used to. All they want to do is 1 shot people checking out pvp for the first time.
Twinks are the main reason low level BGs happen at all. If you separate queues or kick twinks out, then youâll simply have no BGs.
They will start to pop again as soon as people know they are not wasting their time joining to be graveyard camped by twinks. ask anyone that is level 10-39 and they will no way on joining bgs because of twinks
Naw just slap on some enchants and get boa.
Enjoy your bgs full of leveling bots because that is what you have left when twinks are removed.
Getting slapped is a mere reminder to keep yourself geared up, and once you do it helps in all things. Really not an issue when you know the shortcuts.
Like hitting level 71 and joining a few Wintergrasp queues until you are decked in full brutal, good til 80. Or buying literally any of the 18/28/38/etc/60 pvp gear as you level up.
If you join team competitions in gray/white gear despite everything else available thatâs on you.
Considering they fixed the gear ilv exploits. Twinking is pretty much as level a playing field as it gets, no more head chants below lvl 50. No more leg armor below lvl 60 and makes item soulbound, all enchants are now tied to player level not ilv, same goes for quest loot rewards that now have lvl restrictions. Doing this lowered the bar to cap stats, as well as balanced cost to build to the corresponding brackets. 19, 29 can only use sub 35 restricted enhancements. 39,49,59 only sub 60.
