Transmog has enhanced the player specific fantasy to a level that even games with better newer stuff cant compete without having a transmog system.

If you really think about it, Mail on archers is ludicrous esp if we are questing and not in some Military Siege .

How exactly does one “abuse” transmog?
If I like new armor appearances, I mog them. If I don’t like the way they look, I don’t mog them. It’s really that simple.
You may not care if the armor du jour doesn’t fit my aesthetic, but I don’t care if my mogging old vanilla gear triggers you.
My freedom of expression trumps your immersion. And if Void Elves having human range skin and hair colors is any indication, it would seem Blizzard agrees.

And while that quote might be in regards to racial customization specifically, the general sentiment holds true beyond just racial customization. So sorry Charlie, you’re just going to have to deal with the fact that I don’t have to play by your rules in regards to how my character looks.
Individual character customization is great and I applaud blizzard for doing it, however when every player disregards the new gear for some old gear that they just put on top of it it ruins the experience of the expansion
Maybe for you, not for me.
If I think armor is ugly, new or not, I am gonna mog over it. Fortunately there’s not a snowball’s chance in hell that Blizzard will ever do what you want so I have no fear of transmog being removed.
If you wanna see SL gear, mog it yourself. Don’t try and force others to play your way though.
Some people don’t like the look of the current gear, some people have different tastes, what do you propose for them, outside of your obvious pay on the cash shop for the ability to mog pieces.

Tough it out lmao their preference doesn’t matter. old gear stays in the old world. If you don’t like the new gear then leave that feedback that you’d like something different but don’t bring icc gear to the shadowlands.
