Its one of the strongest.
And its a community that overlaps. Very few people are involved in a content aspect of wow and never branch into something else.
Many people that m+ also raid, also do world content, will also be having fun with housing. They arent going to abandon WoW for only a dungeon running game, with a smaller party size.

The thing is that the M+ community, especially at the high end, doesn’t JUST do M+. They usually raid or PVP as well. I don’t see any people dropping WoW for a small group game that is dungeons only.

M+ is dwindling, and people who like dungeon diving will also like fellowship.
Will they quit wow permanently and only play fellowship? No.
They’ll play it for a few weeks and come back to this game they have sunk countless hours into.
Are M+ players easy to stirr up? Yep, just suggest adding a queue and they go wild.

The timer isn’t very relevant on low keys anyways because it’s very long for that content
Also you still get loot for failing the timer so you can still do a chill 3 hour +5

They’re buffing m+ and slightly nerfing delve rewards such that the direct drops from t8 = m+2. They then significantly buffed delve crest rewards to compensate. Most of the delve players who attempted m+ this season only did so in order to get crests to upgrade their hero gear. Next season, they’ll be able to get them in delves, so they won’t have any reason to bother with m+.
