Isnt ele shaman and enhancemeny doing good right now?
Ma-Ti got ripped off with the power of heart. He could feel when animals were stressed because the forest was on fire, which I feel like you didn’t need a power to realize.
They’re both pretty good. I think ele is doing better although that’s just because ranged at this point have it much nicer in Nathria than melee. They have pretty good dungeon utility with stuff such as slows, stuns, and even earth ele (my favorite tank external). They aren’t the best, but they aren’t bad at all.
Shamans are the epitome of a utility class. They have EVERYTHING. Having everything should come with a knock on the damage side but even their damage isnt bad either. Shamans are one of those weird classes that when i usually run into one, no big deal, from time to time though you run into one who knows what he is doing and literally stops everything you are trying to do, and then will proceed to pop 27 spells and couple second shot you.
Played Shaman since BC. They’ve risen and fell among the “best classes” and remained stagnant for a VERY long time, but they do have spells / abilities that others don’t. Yet I can also agree that some of their abilities and “luster” isn’t what it could / should be in my opinion.
They had a blink too.
Enhance is amazing in Mythic +, especially if you go Venthyr. Chain Harvest is crazy good.
Yeah I mentioned earlier it is pretty much a healing cd.
They had displacer beast, but it was taken away because it was too much like blink.
It’s much more than that. The DPS boost is phenomenal.
Venthyr represent !
Also, gtfo OP. I get insta invites as resto Shaman…dunno what you’re smoking
You’re just whining to whine. Shamans are pretty solid atm except maybe resto in pvp.
I still to this day scratch my head on why Blizz thought the Mage class needed an utility ability such as Lust/Timewarp
As a healer I am biased. Only the healing matters.
Careful dude, before the mages start fighting to have flame shock and immolate removed for being too much like ignite.
So join the other other 27 specs in the group?
Don’t get me wrong it feels good on my mage, but at the same time I didn’t feel like I needed it. Mage already brings solid dps, CC, and an invuln to soak mechanics.
Yeah! I enjoy it on my mage as well but historically in WoW mage has been a solid pick in dps, brought great cc, portals, food and water. They don’t really need an incentive to be brought to a group. The only thing I can think of is that time warp just fits the theme and that is where the thinking about the ability stopped.
We used to joke about it. “Man what class doesn’t get invited to raids. Mages. Let’s give them a bloodlust so people really feel obligated to take a mage, that’ll help out our mage players quite a bit with being viable!”
Blizzard needs to just create a new class. A class that can pick and choose abilities and talents from all classes and specs. I’ve heard private servers used to do that, called “classless”.
