I’d love to tell you it’s PvP players that are toxic… heck, I’d love to tell you that it’s WoW players that are toxic, but unfortunately that’s just humans. As soon as people find a way they can figure they can feel superior over someone else, they’ll dump all over others. No real point in removing PvP realms because it won’t make a difference.
With that having been said… I do think the retail solution of opt-in PvP via War Mode makes a lot of sense. Really shows who the people who actually care about PvP are. Spoiler alert, it’s not many.

Basically.
Retail dangles wpvp quests weekly, well did till df (I don’t own tww to know if still there).
you’d be advised to hammer these out first day or 2 after reset. that be when you’d see more warmode on. Weekends for many turn to power daily runs. that be more warmode off. Death by dailies doesn’t need delays to pvp.
It not like many liked borethia in SL. Warmode off, git her dun, move on.
Better remove pvp realms for the one guy on the wow forums complaining about it

I think because his other posts have a couple hundred responses he will continue with the hot takes.
There are few things more toxic than someone who wants to remove an optional feature just because they dont like it. It seems like a popular thing on these forums though.

PVP isn’t optional on a PVP server if you are in a contested zone.
That’s the point of the thread.

Removing pvp servers would NOT be good for classic. You can just roll on the pve server. Why remove a server because YOU dont like it? Horrible take but that is what all your posts seem to consist of.

Normally I’d say you can always avoid PVP servers, but then I remember I’m an OCE player who doesn’t always have a choice.
Bitter taste.
PVP servers are an essential part of the game. For many years it’s been known if you have a job and don’t plan on making WOW your life don’t roll on a pvp server. The try hards and no lifers gravitate towards PVP because they know hey I’m going to be playing 14 hours every day so I’ll have an advantage.
On a pve server the advantage is far less because now they can’t kill you if your both trying to do something or fighting for the same resources in the open world.
20 years of this and you’d think people would learn
