Yes most PVE trinkets got nerfs, that isn’t one of them. From what I can see.

Assuming the usual for the others 55% nerf. Thats a 11k shield, and 7k health, which apply at the same time effectively giving 18k HP, thats before Vers scaling as it scales with Vers.

Thats still better than Seed.

I don’t use the offensive legendary.

Didn’t see the chaos strike buffs have to look. Even with them, a second potency conduit slot for Blade Dance conduit is probably more useful imo, that is our highest damage, and best source of spread pressure in Arena.

Doesnt matter, seed isn’t going to change nor should it. Everyone has the ability to use it, end of discussion tbh.

Edit: So what chaos strike buff are you referring? I see no such hotfix.

I haven’t read through all the nonsense. All i think they need to do is give the seed a nameplate. Often times if i drop someone I barely notice a seed there and it goes overlooked. I would just like to be able to tab over and see the name plate highlighted so I can dps it down.

I reported this bug last week and made a post here warning people about this. Still an issue that hasn’t been fixed.

We got a 5% damage increase across the board with tuesdays hotfixes (more for PVE since DH was bottom of the barrel DPS). Don’t recall any sort of buffs to anything else.

They increased the base damage of chaos strike quite a bit and an additional 10% to the meta version of that, on I think it was wensday hotfixes.

  • Chaos Strike (Rank 3) now correctly affects Annihilation.
  • Corrected an issue where the main hand portion of Chaos Strike was dealing too little damage.

Ahh Dec 15th. Man I didn’t even see that haha.

Yeah it’s under bug fixes, but i think it was about 20% increase to normal chaos strike and 30% to annihilation. Though that’s just comparing my tooltip damage before and after the hotfix went live with the same gear, and the change was how it scaled from weapon so it’s weird.

Hmm I’ll have to see if I notice any actual difference tomorrow when I queue 3s then. Didn’t feel like there was difference in my RBGs today.

I definitely feel the difference although I’m using the chaos strike conduit and Chaos theory so any difference in base damage can really be felt during theory uptime.

I swapped to the chaos theory leggo recently and i love it tbh, but is the conduit even worth using at the 184 ilvl (6.5% proc chance)?

I have the 7% chance one and I know you can buy the 8% one from conquest vendor at 2100 rating. Honestly really haven’t played a ton this season since still waiting for my usual partners to have time so I haven’t tested out the other conduits much, some people would probably prefer a more consistent one. Although I do like how it can lead to some really nutty burst damage during Chaos Theory if Rng likes you at the moment and just delete someone if ya get a proc or two.

Hmmm I might give it a go then when I get a higher ilvl version of it.

How do the conduits scale? Do you have to buy them all or something?

I’m Rival and still only offer 200 ilvl conduits.

My problem with it is mostly that you can bop it, and ring of peace it. Basically making it impossible for a melee of any sort to kill. Also it is almost nearly impossible to target and scales to the player model, aka goblin seed is almost invisible and untargetable and tauren are so large its hard not to target the tauren instead of the seed.
Sure make a macro to target it, so i have to make a macro and binding to target a cov mechanic that teams can play around to ensure the seed survives. Example, priest/mage/rogue, imagine all 3 being nightfae and at any point they can potentially fear/ring/blind and stun the whole map just to get the res off. It’s hard to say how to fix it, it’s not like ring of peace shouldn’t be able to protect the seed, it’s just not possible for some classes to kill it when they can’t hit it. It’s not like a team shouldn’t be able to protect the seed with cc, but with a 3/4 second window to connect to it after you blow your load to actually kill a player… So it either needs half the health, which might render it useless, or to be reworked into an active ability that you use to regen x% of your health.

There is no fixing it, because there is nothing wrong with it.

Nameplate bugs aside.

So bop and ring of peace, against a melee cleave = free res?
monk/pally/x vs melee/melee/x leave it to a healer to hit? lol
working as intended? l2p issue? lol Let’s say it’s fine as is, it still needs to be fixxed, I was in an arena and the seed respawned after I failed to kill it and i still won the game ended, didn’t even work. Can’t target it half the time, nameplate in the sky, target the player within the seed but not the seed itself. Mechanically it’s busted. I don’t even care honestly, just don’t think it belongs in arena. 10 min cooldowns don’t belong in arena.

Defending it, keeps the player alive. In what instance does that not make sense.

The only reason this 10m CD is allowed is because EVERYONE can use it.

Also remember Last Resort? That was also a 10m CD, people cried about it in Arena, Blizz made it a 8m CD. Does almost the same thing.

Your not going to win here people. Get used to it.

If they so remove the seed, people will move to the trinkets, which not only heal for more and shield they do damage and allow you to do damage.

Where the seed keeps them locked for 10 secs.

Remember crying about dres to only get skulkers day later? Ya your doing that again.

Can you stop? its a toxic ability that has no place in arenas, on trinket or on abilities.
