All sorts of people play this game. Blizzard needs to protect the community from the sadistic psychopaths that are running around. And I am being serious. Those are absolutely the only people who are getting ‘chuckles’ out of this.
They do protect the players against others who break the ToS.

I clicked a healthstone right at the AV gate and got ported out because apparently there was a mage portal like 10 feet behind me and the hit box registered when I clicked.

It’s nothing to do with an eye problem so stop insulting people. It’s mages being absolute trolls, and you know it. Not everyone is concentrating so intently as you at the start of a bg especially in AV, where it happens the most.
I have a mage and I would never think of doing that for kicks.

This just isn’t true. You obviously haven’t done many at all if you think this.
Alliance under 120 - under 3 min queue time. Alliance 120 upwards to 25 minutes queue time.
Horde side 120 - up to 40 minutes queue time. Under 120 under 5 minutes.
I have ran about 20 120 characters alliance side through there for the Soldier of Time quest and level up about 6 characters from 60 to 110 alliance side. And the queues times are consistently as indicated.
I also ran two horde 120s in there - one for the mount which took a few days.
Literally just got into one a few mins. ago on my 120 Alliance mage with a queue time of less than 2 mins about 10 mins ago. Lets not make stuff up.
Exactly what happened to me. It’s not clever and it’s not funny.
no. i can que up on any of my sub 120s and the que is always 12-14minutes. i que on any of my 120s and it can be as low as 18 minutes or up to 31 minutes. its always the same…the second they hit 120, i stop queing up on that toon. Im in WrAccord so who knows if that makes it different.
and i did play my alliance toon and the ques were really short; games were really short; and 9/10 games were a loss. so i only used it to level only 1 toon and went to horde.
I just level my fishing while i wait.

I see your one instance versus my 20 plus instances.
Servers don’t matter and haven’t for years.

Sounds like low-key victim blaming.
I haven’t clicked on any portals myself, but trollolols put them down on Healthstones, feasts, Mage Tables, NPCs, etc… sometimes right as the person goes to click on said beneficial object.
What do portals do? Nothing beneficial in a BG. There is literally no need for them.

120 alliance, 7 minute average. I actually sat in a 45 minute queue at 120 a few days ago and it never popped so I gave up, yesterday I got in after like 7-10 mins, never the normal 2 minute pre 120 though.

If you are that bad that you click on them then that is your fault. I don’t want yet another thing removed from the game because another whiney casual did not get their way.
These constant back to back changes are what is ruining the game for good. This is why there are less than 10% of the highest sub count player base playing now.
It is a gigantic highlighted bright glowing neon blue circle in the middle of your screen. If you somehow manage to click that on accident… I really do not know what to tell you.
Personally, battlegrounds need a teleport back into instance button like dungeons.
Really if you want to keep the portals then it’s only fair we ask for a teleport in option. (teleport out option is out of the question cause i can see that being abused to skip PvP with other players. Only a one way system to just teleport back in the BG’s)

you can situate a portal on top of stuff such that it is impossible to click the item under the portal.
Maybe take it down a notch and not jump to the conclusion that they want mage portals removed from the entire game and just BGs…
Did you not notice or read the mouseover tooltip?
Clicking on a big blue shiny portal would also be not cleaver though right?
