Remove Flying. It killed the TWW Leveling Experience

Guilds are cross faction and cross server now. Find them.

Then don’t fly.

You know as much as I do like Dynamic Flight
 Hard agree!

Why are you telling me? I’m not the one wanting that stuff lol.

And even cross-faction and cross-realm I doubt you’re going to find 25 players of like mind lol.

Which is why it’s hilarious when people like that go on about what they think the game should be.

I thought that the DF “flight based questing” was extremely tedious due to all the “fly halfway across the world using your gimped dragon flight capabilities” quests. TWW seems to have got the flying questing completely right.

So that’s a hard disagree with OP.

Then this is a you problem.

Here’s an idea: Stop trying to make the whole world adhere to your preferences. MOST of the problems in life stem from people being unable to mind their own business and trying to dictate how the rest of us live our lives. If it doesn’t literally endanger you, then butt out. DO what you want but stop trying to tell the rest of us to do what you want.

Remove Tauren Druids.

I as well as others disagree. You have the option to not fly.

This is just dumb. These days you have plenty of time to harvest the very same weeds that the druid just landed on.

Has nothing to do with that. The complainer is a tauren druid, so remove tauren druids.

I don’t know, I thought it was going to be meh but I’ve had more fun in this expac than any of them since Legion (well, I did like DF quite a bit too though). The overall theme is just too good and feels more cohesive. To me I can feel the story building up, yea it has that Blizz cartoon touch but it’s chill. Maybe I’m just a sucker for dwarves, caves, steampunk machinery and the giant underground ocean. Not huge on the Nerub stuff but I respect it

I think you’re confusing Warmode with flying.

I mean before warmode was a thing a lot, really a lot of the whining about flight was that lowbies could run away in pvp servers

What kind of braindead take is this?

I’m sorry, but flying while leveling is here to stay. You understand we have GROUND MOUNTS, right? You can use them at any time? And you also understand Blizzard can’t just go into the game, hammer down some mountains to make things easier on the floor
 right?

Flying while leveling was a necessity on the dragon isles as it is in TWW. It got you into experiencing a whole new form of flying that is very much loved. So loved that the community resulted in BEGGING for it to be used outside of the Dragon Isles and in future expansions.

Leveling is so much easier and hey, guess what, flying is optional. Wow! Shocker. I know.

That wasn’t flying. It was skyriding. So everything you said is a lie.

Warmode has been a thing since what, BFA? Why are we still bringing this up? It had nothing to do with the OP.

The OP was talking about immersion while leveling from a grounded perspective. Agree or disagree with their opinion, but they didn’t mention pvp or being ganked.

Isn’t bringing that topic up out of nowhere also “whining” about pvp, considering you have been able to permanently turn wpvp off for the past 6 years?

I wonder if she knows about the RP-PVP and PVP servers that exist where this thing happens quite often

Immersion is also a ridiculous argument. Griffons, hippogryphs, dragonhawks have been part of the core lineup of 3 races since WC2-3 days, so clearly flying mounts are not considered impossibly rare if they’re part of the war forces of 3 cultures in the rts.

Now we have a playable dragon race too, and druid flight form and so on, which means it’s much better to just design so flight is a part of the exploration and not a way to skip it, and DF and TWW have been doing that beautifully.
