Remove EXPLODING SPORES from Delve

Shrug emoji. Fungal folly is my go-to for bountiful and weekly.

The only thing I would want is the spores where the boss is to not respawn because youre literally aggroing them everytime he spins around. Other than that, if you do aggro them just burst it down and then cc it so it doesnt chase. They’re actually beneficial for mobs and knocking them back.

They are bombs for you if you just know the timing to dodge them. They nuke the enemies. Makes the Delve easy if anything.

Don’t even need to CC it, really, they’re easy to get away from it’s just not enjoyable. They stop moving when they hit 0.

I dont have a problem with them lol, i use them to kill mobs faster

I understand why you hate the spores. I thought they were a pain in the butt, but then I realized they hurt enemies too. Now I think they are great for speed clearing. The worse my alt is geared, the more I use them to augment my DPS.

In a lvl 8 Fungal Folly:

Fungal Stabber have 5,778k health. They die from a single spore.
Fungal Rotspreader have 4,622k Health. They die from a single spore.
Infected Beast have 11,556k health. They survive 1 spore with ~33% health remaning.
Gnarled Reviver have 11,556k health. They survive 1 spore with ~33% health remaning.
Fungal Gutter have 11,556k health. They survive 1 spore with ~33% health remaning.
The Fungal Rotcasters have 10,400k health. They survive 1 spore with 24% of their health remaining.
The Fungal Spreatender (the big elites) have 20,223k health. They survive 1 spore with 62% of their health remaining.

These numbers come from letting the spores explode on enemies and then just standing back and seeing how much damage they took and then subtracting the damage Brann did.

Have you tried looking at yourself in the mirror?

Agreed, I pull them on my DK before the boss fight, but he’s also right in that they will respawn by the time I begin the boss fight lol

The mechanic is dogwater.

Yes I know about how they work and thier HP and delay. The issue is when there are 4 of them plus adds and a boss and the constant respawning. Remember you are stating a way for a specific class to deal with, try that with a warlock or others t hat do not have the mobility.

Learn how 2 delve. You grab all the spores and then whack the mobs with them. Case closed.

You really struggle with delves. Kite them as you kill them and you don’t get blasted. Vanish if brann pulls to much. Like you really are just bad at wow or what?

Business is boomin

Warlock , you send in the voidwalker. Mage , you can probably just burn it down several feet away and I doubt its immune to frost nova. I can sit here ad go through every class, Most casters can range shoot them and most melee can just outrun them.

I can handle the spores with roots, typhoon, vortex, or wild charge. I do, however, have an issue with their respawn rates, it’s absolutely ridiculous.

cant run because theyre too fast. thats the rope a dope mech. what you gotta do is stand and deliver. once you just 2 shot them they will start to cast. move out and you can even nova the mobs youre fighting inside it and it will merc them for you. you got this

I’d be fine with the spores if they didn’t respawn five seconds after being killed or ignore pets or Brann and always focus player. To a point I avoid spore delves as they’re so stupid at times. Making the spores not respawn at all may be too easy but that’d be fine too as they’re annoying

While I agree some classes have harder times then others especially on the boss fight in Fungal Folly, I don’t think removing them would be warranted. I do wish they actually would damage that last boss however which they currently don’t which would make that specific fight easier. I play the following classes weekly,

  • Affliction Warlock
  • Beastmaster Hunter
  • Blood Death Knight
  • Enhancement Shaman
  • Frost Mage
  • Outlaw Rogue
  • Protection Warrior

Those are my main 7 characters I play every week, and I do it with amputated fingers on my mouse hand which makes it even more difficult to maneuver to a normal player. I’m not abdicating that the spores being removed, except for them to help do damage to that one boss at the end. I make great use of their exploding abilities on all other encounters.

Spores are literally allow you to clear these delves in like 10 minutes. you drag them to the enemies, step out of the circle when they are about to go off and enemies are 90% dead. It’s not a complicated mechanic and speeds up the delves like 300%.
