Bingo. The mechanic makes that Delve brain dead easy to fast clear.
I did that at lower ilvl but now I just put brann as dps, me as tank, and I stay in one spot, barkskin the spin and survival instinct the explosion. Boss lasts about 25 seconds.
Its a pretty big slap in the face to the player to put that many spores attheboss but it doesnât take damage from eh explosions. This means running around the, very small, area at the bottom right of the platform. I donât recall if the boss resets if you happen to fall off the platform.
No do not remove them.
They are useful and make the run much quicker.
Go play with them a bit, they stop moving before they explode, very easy to work with.
Fungal Folly is the easiest Delve already and you want to make it even easier?
The spores on the boss also donât move though. So they donât chase you.
I mean, I wouldnât object to that. lol
yea,but Iâ like to make use of them. The whole delve up to that point and then that mechanic doesnât work?
Why donât you just kill them and move around to avoid them?
I mean thats what I do with my Demon hunter.
Canât believe Iâm seeing threads on GD asking Blizz to remove mechanics that make delves a lot more fun.
They move slower at low health and stop moving entirely once fully âarmed.â Hitting them on purpose to control their movements makes them a lot easier to deal with. They also do friendly fire damage to other enemies, which makes them very useful when you want to get through the delve more quickly.
a pocket full of pwnses
Dr. Bronzebeard or: how I learned to stop panicking and kite the (spore)bomb.
They only aggro to you if you hit them or move inside their circle.
You can CC them.
Lower their health the slower they move so donât bother racing away from it after it aggros, just hit it then walk away when it starts to get low or begins blowing up.
The bombs are the enemy of your enemy too, make the bomb your friend, drag it into a group, drop an AoE CC, now the group is likely mostly dead.
My first two T8s were in fungal folly BEFORE I knew the spores hurt the npcs. I didnât really hate them, but as a monk I could easily roll out of the way before they exploded.
Now that I know they also hurt npcs, I just round those suckers up, npcs and spores and roll out of the circle at the last second and either way the npcs die or get blown away and hurt badly.
The only thing I donât like about this delve is the last boss, he can be a pain if I make a couple wrong moves, lol.
All you literally have to do is always be walking and theyâll never blow you up. Safest mechanic ever for people who actually do mechanics.
I feel so the opposite. It makes that Delve the easiest. I was trying on healer and god it felt good to stack them up on the final boss.
My compromise is that once they explode, they donât respawn.
While I want to empathize, as someone who does delves, I round up the spores and the mobs, watch for them to almost explode in a single group, and then use a speed boost to outrun it while it explodes and takes out my enemies. Havocâs Fel Rush should accomplish this nicely.
Oh, and pro tip: If you want change, you need to be both calm, and polite.
Youâre supposed to use them to explode mobs.
I actually really like them as a mechanic (being able to explode them on things), but i despise the respawning thing, it makes me feel rushed and i donât ever want to feel that in Delves.
