Or the classic… “But how am I supposed to tell what class a character is just by looking at them in Raid?” ![]()
Hilariously I’ve got druids that are dressed more like hunters would be than hunters that I have lol
I see no need for a druid to be able to wear pants with big cargo pants pockets in them but that would be exactly something a hunter might wear because all the pouches and bags you can get to carry that equipment with all that little small gear is exactly what a hunter would do and I know because I hunt lmao
They literally sell hunting pants with the little pouches and pockets in real life for hunting.
And when blizzard makes pants for leather they put the same stuff in there but guess what hunters don’t wear leather lol not in this game anyway
Exactly that is such a lame joke argument. You can hover over any character in this game and see what their class is. You don’t need to go by their transm.
And you can’t go by their transmog anyways. I can prove that in about 8 second flat by bringing up one of my hunters that are in no way look like something a hunter would be wearing.
I’ve got druids that look more like hunters than my hunters do lol
Just because of that I need to remember to use my murloc and yeti onesies more often in raid.
Exactly. I started wearing that Halloween scarecrow set around a lot more just to prove a point that we can’t tell what a class is by the transmog lol
Kaz here only looks like a warlock at all, because of the void/eldritch entity that she’s wearing as part of her belt, and the way that the ribbons on her shoulder pieces move more like tendrils of some eldritch being instead of like paper or cloth…
I think the only class that I play that you could honestly look at my character and say yep that’s the class is probably shaman and that’s because the sets I use have all the fire and electric and crap like that
Most of the time I don’t think too many people would know what class I’m playing unless they specifically know the set and even then multiple classes where the same armor type so they might still not know
Mages, priest, warlock can all wear Coldflame battle gear which looks like plate. They have already breeched the fantasy. Just allow all mog to be accessible for all classes.
Yup. Pretty much. FF XIV has sort of fallen by the wayside recently. That’s what happens when you don’t give it a worthwhile budget and then focus more on the hardcore crowd.
Squeenix is desperate to retain what players they have left at this point, until some major, major changes come to the entire glam system…this is a bandied on a waterfall.
Maybe its time for Bahamut to pay the game another visit.
As someone who played the game from ARR open beta till the first major patch of Dawntrail, it’s really disappointing to see. I saw the writing on the wall sometime during Endwalker and then grew enough spine to leave the following expansion. Haven’t looked back since.
I am really hoping FF finds it footing. I dont really play but it as a fan of Final Fantasy and the idea that MMOs need better competition it falling in the wayside would be bad for genre as a whole.
I agree. This is a good change for Final Fantasy and it’s needed in WoW
I hope it does too, but I also think that SE should get exactly what it deserves and either be forced to save the one game keeping their company afloat or come crashing down. I am fine with either scenario at this point.
It better not crash until I get my Final Fantasy 9 remake!
That’s probably where 75% of FF XIV’s budget will go.
To be absolutely fair, if FF9 remake gets released it will recoup its budget and then hopefully said profit can be used back on FFXIV.
Not the worst final fantasy… but definitely in the top 3.
Am I going freaking insane?
What the hell is wrong with people? Just let people transmog armor if they can wear the type it has literally nothing to do with FF14 doing it.
It’s a stupid restriction, If I can transmog a stupid yeti or murloc costume on my Paladin there’s no freaking reason I shouldn’t be able to transmog mail, leather or cloth. There’s no logic.
Stop with this “FF14 BAD SO NO WE CANNOT DO IT!” It’s a dumb as hell argument.
