Sylvanas’ goal was never to spare anyone…including the Horde.
Have you forgotten that Sylvanas tried to have Thrall killed? That she is trying to have Talanji and Bwonsambi killed?
Sylvanas has killed those that don’t agree with what she wants.
Personally I don’t like baine because he did to little to late. I don’t get why people on alliance side like him. He started to pushback after Derek was raised, not after teldrassil burned. I’m not sure Cairne would have let that go so easily. I wish baine rebelled immediately after teldrassil burned.
I don’t think any of you truly understand how terrified most were of Sylvanas.
Just like Azshara, Sylvanas has very persuasive influence over those under her.
You underestimated her persuasive ways.
So do you dislike Vol’jin? Honest question, you must dislike him too.
He’s the beacon for dissolving the factions.
He is not an idiot ?
There wasn’t much to like about Volj’in. He was ok but I didn’t like the way he just let Varian make him look like a weakling.
I liked him a lot more than the vast majority of the Horde leadership at this rate. Of course, like Cairne, he was killed in a super dirty way by Blizzard so we didn’t get to see him do much else after his one expansion.
I don’t at all. Voljin also moved all the dark spear out of orgrimmar and in the starting troll quests vol’jin shows you a conversation between him and garrosh in which voljin threatens to kill him if he doesn’t change his ways. I don’t have an issue with characters wanting peace. I guess I just have more of an issue with how baine was written, I felt like he could’ve done more sooner.
To be fair didn’t see him do much during that expansion either lol
I liked him a lot until the moment Garrosh died and then after that he was just kind of there.
We didn’t even get to see much of him during his one expansion as WC. We saw Thrall more in WoD than him. Vol’jin got did dirty.
This was the issue with the Hordes writing in BFA.
Was Vol’jin weak when he stood up to Garrosh?
The only reason why Vol’jin didn’t challenge Garrosh to the death was because of his respect for Thrall and patience in letting Thrall deal with Garrosh.
DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE VOL’JIN. He was a shadow hunter when alive. You don’t mess with shadow hunters.
A Felguard did and look what happened lol
Huh no he wasn’t and I don’t recall saying he was weak against Garrosh. Pretty sure I said he was a weakling in front of Varian.
The human walks up to his face and basically says “behave or I’ll break you.” Volj’in just stands there and does nothing.
The problem is, what could he do? Sylvanas is Jaina levels of overpowered, everyone on the Horde knows it. Derek was definitely the single blade of straw that broke the camel’s back, the one little event that finally made Baine stand up. Hate him or not, it’s not easy to stand up to the Lich Queen.
That’s what I mean, he was done super dirty. His death is easily worse than what happened to Cairne because it was done for the sole purpose of continuing Sylvanas’ story, and not a satisfying end to his. At least Cairne’s sudden death has a decent explanation; Vol’jin was killed for plot convenience and nothing else. Blizzard butchered him.
Technically, we’ve all killed members of the Horde. Every one of us, Horde and Alliance alike.
So I don’t see the big deal.
You obviously would never be a good leader since you have no understanding of diplomacy
