the twitter/selfie camera was definitely the worst. least in the tbc patch you had what really matters class changes. portals don’t really bug me but i play sham on every server i’m on, extra hearth is nice.
Imagine getting that upset over something I said on forums. Just tryna help and give some feedback. If you don’t want any input, maybe you can keep your thoughts to yourself and stay off the forums?
Portals are bountiful if you know where they are and take advantage of it. But blizzard definitely cut down on some. Mage portals can start being a thing again

I’m not even remotely “upset”, btw. Just pointing out that not everyone plays the same way.
There’s absolutely no reason for Blizz to have built a portal room and not put ALL the portals in it. If you think the Boralus portals will be there in Shadowlands, I’ve got a bridge in Arizona I want to sell you.

I’m just giving you options since you seem to be searching for more perspective. The reason I think you are upset is because of your choice of words.
There is a good reason to remove the portals. You refuse to acknowledge it 
Thing is we were doing the this. Mog hunters see the old world all the time.
They wanted the world to be bigger by making it a pita. So so now if in Dalaran it’s the go to faction capitol to its portal room to where you want to go.
It’s a forced trip to these places . I like Dalaran since I do more legion work unless leveling.
It’s a hard call for me. Horde or alliance…who has the most idiots in city local. Orgrimmar and sw fight hard for that top spot. Why I avoid them lol.
Till portal change had me go there.

Umm, you think class changes and other stuff wasn’t in 6.1??
So if you’re in Stormwind, you have to take a portal in the fancy new portal room to a place across the world in order to get to a place down the road. 
I’d say the person that the king put in charge of building the portal room should be fired.

But…I will say the graphics section did a stellar job here. great looking setup to these lol. Lest I be labeled a negative person.
Alliance one is better imo but horde is nice all the same.
There’s a quest that rewards a ring that will port you there =)
(I learned that a few months ago and it’s fantastic!)

How can a portal be overwhelming? sorry I seriously don’t understand, its labeled and all you do is click… and they were not in newby areas anyway.
Now you have all the portals in a portal room that is accessible by newbies, if anything should be over whelming its that.

I think I probably did the quest last expac and got rid of the ring once I had a better one. There was a portal you see…
I appreciate you mentioning it though, I’ll figure out how to run it down and make sure. If I’m wrong and I can still get it, weekly farming may return.

Every change they make recently is from a time played viewpoint. That’s what it all boils down to. Personally, I think it’s a mistake that will eventually choke the playerbase to the point of no return.

You couldn’t be further off base. Believe me I’m extremely critical of the ‘essence grind sucks’ crowd because all they do is basically complain about having to play the game. I do a lot of stuff in the game. And when places like Kara or Southshore are now 10 minute flights from the nearest horde portal or quick travel point, it cuts down on the amount of stuff I can do in the game.
And generally any content in the old world is pretty low priority, it’s at convenience type stuff that I usually want to fit in when I have a few spare minutes, or when I’m basically done for the night and want to just knock out one more thing.
I’ve really only got patience for a 2 to 3 minute flight before I want to hurry up and get to the reason I’m travelling. I hate commuting in the real world and I sure can’t stand it in a game.

I dont expect Blizzard to create a game that suits my personal tastes, you shouldn’t too. They explained why they removed the portals.
Oooook…why are you on the forums if not to discuss what you like and dislike about the game, and where you’d like to see it changed? I still play the game don’t I?
