Can you honestly tell me based on how they have written Anduin that he would continue the war if he had the soldiers?
I mean its obvious he wouldn’t his entire Narrative has been leading to making peace with the Horde. Everyone one of the engagements he lead or planned were focused on minimal Horde losses. Its why we siege a city just to kill a leader, or why we raid another to get their leader to surrender and chasing one man across the ocean with the whole fleet.
This is why I fear that the Narrative will soon end with us all following Anduin from the Prophecy in son of the wolf with him leading us all against the Void. There won’t be a Horde or Alliance at that point.
As soon as Anduin was placed in charge of the whole Alliance we all knew this war would end in peace and Sylvanas gone. It Robbed any agency this war Narrative had, at least in MOP it was kinda up in the air on how it may end.
