I leveled a monk in legion remix as brewmaster to 80; early on I also picked up the healing artifact weapon but didn’t get around to doing the windwalker weapon. Now trying to do it at lvl 80 it doesn’t seem to be working correctly. First, on the quest “off to adventure”, when Li Li’s kite arrived in Ramhaken I couldn’t dismount and eventually had to alt-f4 to get unstuck. Logging back in I was in Dalaran, so went back to ride the kite again - once again arrived but got the “you can’t be here” message, couldn’t move, and had to alt-f4. Logging back in I am in Ramkahen with Li Li and turned the “off to adventure” quest in to her but there is no follow up quest available and no one to talk to besides Li Li. Once I leave it doesn’t seem like there will be any way back to continue the quest either, since there are too many “out of bounds” zones to be able to fly to Ramkahen.
You can’t continue because the quest is in the non BFA version of Ramkahen, Which we cannot get to because the person to change it to old version doesn’t exist in remix
Yeah I know why it’s not working…but hoping it can get fixed lol. All the fixes I could find online were either “try again” or “roll a new monk” but would rather not have to do that since I’m already at 80 :-/

Don’t have to crash to experience bug. Took the flight on kite to Uldum for quest, when kite landed it let me off and I was stuck in a weird fall to the ground loop for a number of moments with the repeated message of “You aren’t allowed to go there” on screen. Moving, jumping, rolling, all reset back to landing position, but Slicing Winds was able to move my base position to next to LiLi for turn in. Turned in quest and LiLi provides no follow up. Unable to obtain WW artifact.

Ooops, I opened up a thread just like this, but commenting here to say I’m having the exact same issue. Feels bad to already be level 80, don’t really want to reroll.

I’m not the only one! This seems to only be a problem if you don’t start with the WW artifact as your first one as I’ve talked to some of the monks on Stormrage about it. But I got to level 70 on my timerunner brewmaster monk before I tried to get my 2nd artifact. I chose WW and now I’m stuck with only one weapon and the same problem you guys have. Important to note that I cannot even try to get the MW artifact if I wanted to because I’m locked by this Thunder on the Sands quest in Ramkahen. Please blizz, fix ASAP… I don’t wanna make another monk

Same issue. Brewmaster 10-80 then tried to do Windwalker quest and got “You aren’t allowed to go there” x1,000
Managed to hand in quest in Uldum but there was no further leads so i teleported out and can now never go back because I don’t have the bread-crumb quest to send me there.
I didn’t pick up the mistweaver weapon before this so now I’m locked into brewmaster forever, I guess.
after alt-f4 last night, i relogged in uldum this morning, i can now move around but there are no quest to pick up from LI LI after turning in off to adventure!
Bump! As it stands, we can only choose 1 spec to play, or we severely cripple ourselves without an artifact equipped.

Same thing is happening to me as well. Pretty major issue at the moment for my character.
still broken after 10/10 hotfixes, Uldum is in the wrong phase.
You’ve unfortunately locked yourself out of that weapon. This is happening with multiple classes. Blizzard needs to just give the weapons to players.
I’m actually locked out from two weapons as I can’t start the mistweaver one until this chain is done.
