Remix tanks need to be brought back to reality

Nobody wants to play progression server on remix.

That’s the whole point. They tried pushing that out and we pushed it straight back.

MY only gripe is the warden runs.

That platform locks when they start the “lets see what’s behind door number…” boss. Okay…I guess I /dance?

then you play loot catch up as the other 2/3 bosses die fast too lol.

I’ve seen DPS with over 100M HP. How’s that different? It’s remix.

All the problems with low level dungeons are Blizzard created problems.

Tanks running faster than people in cloth… Blizzard design.
Tanks able to solo dungeons that kill everyone else… Blizzard design.
Scaling that turns heroic dungeons into one hit kill zones… Blizzard design.
Skinner box grinds that cause people go “oh well, let the tank one shot the dungeon”… Blizzard design.

Blizzard trying to solve these problems with things like a “social contract” instead of fixing the designs that encourage degenerate play and the strife it creates… Blizzard design.

This is what remix is supposed to be. Deal with it, lol.

I feel like the expectation for Remix is a lot of “overpoweredness”. I’m not sure why people are so against this. Wait for Legion classic if you want the trinity. Until then grind more for your vers.

I was the Druid tank in a run today, where the Monk had those stats. Before the rest of us could finish on the first boss, he already had the second nearly down. By the time we made it close to the second one to loot, he downed the 3rd one. Some of us got wrapped in the storm (eye of Azshara), and never made it to the 4th boss to loot and died as 5 was going down, leaving no loot (some sort of bug). I don’t mind the fast carry when we stick together and keep up, but this was just not fun.

Partly because it has people playing like this who can’t actually do it. I did an M0 Halls of Valor a couple nights ago where our tank tried to pull the entire wing from the first boss to the second in one go, we wiped twice because we couldn’t out-dps the healing mobs and kept getting ground down by the nonstop AoEs, and the tank just bailed without saying anything the entire run after the second wipe.

I switched tank after that and we 4-manned the rest by pulling rationally, but everyone seems to already think that the entire population of the mode is already at 900 ilevel and 500% Vers.

On top of which, the only people who are already at that level are those who were able to take advantage of the M+ gear leapfrogging and gathering node Infinite Power farms that have both been removed now. Anyone who didn’t know/get on those soon enough is now stuck miles behind facing a much longer grind to catch up.

Gosh, if only the exact same thing had happened in MoP Remix that Blizzard could have foreseen such an issue. :scream:

Surprised you’re not more mad about tanks queueing as healers (paladins, monks, druids), when queuing as a healer is faster in dungeon/LFR.

You think 1 tank mass pulling is fast? Try 2 tanks both with over 100m hp burning things down, especially in Halls. Makes the dungeons a lot faster and not even mad.

You can just solo it at your own pace.
