Wowhead posted a article that all Remix characters will get ilvl 467 no matter what when they transfer over to retail…what logic does that make? It should at least be ilvl 480 prepatch gear or I don’t know based off how good your gear/stats are in remix.
Why does it matter? You’re going to replace it the day the expansion comes out anyway.
I mean why have a car, train, or other form of transportation…you will get their eventually walking…
If you want to try and strain that analogy, you’re complaining that you won’t have a train to travel fifteen feet and be given a spaceship.
The very first quests in TWW will replace all but the top tier of raid gear.
LFR ready, and able to get stuff from the pre-patch.
If it doesn’t matter then give the prepatch gear then. Most remix players have done more for max level and quality gear. Other then the early exploiters of course…all this says it Retail devs and Remix devs don’t like each other. Makes me think Retail devs are just angry people maybe played Remix more then DF season 4…
I’ll delete/shelve them anyway, so idc.
Too bad for those who worked hard for their 556 gear.
Nope. Only at level 77-80 you will be swapping your 500+ ilvl in TWW.
I didn’t know you were an equine dentist. Stop looking the gift horse in the mouth; Blizzard could have given remix characters 346 and said “good enough.”
Buy a set and save it for your remix character, then send it to them as soon as they get transferred over?
This is a dumb statement.
It’s the same people.
Why do you need a car to travel 20 feet ahead? The expansion will be out only a few days after the remix characters come out.
expansion entry level is 408, you won’t really be replacing it until around 75 ish more than likely. Not that it changes much, but just noting.
I’d like to go on record as saying that the game should just do away with levels and gear levels since everyone just wants to rush through the progression game play as fast as possible anyway.
Unless you went berserk leveling characters in Remix, you can just take a non-Remix character into the pre-patch event and get a set of 480 gear for a Remix character in a couple of hours.
I already have a set put aside for my Remix Warlock… and my Remix Paladin has about half a set waiting so far.
only took 2 days to get max 556 gear
Well, I am happy it isn’t I level 424 gear, which I mean I already have full sets in my War bank of all this event gear, weapons, rings, and trinkets to dish out to my army of “what class am I going to main for TWW”.
I do hope I get to keep those 36 slot bags. ![]()
You’re actually lucky that they are even allowing the characters to become real in retail. Just be glad about that since you could level from 10-70 in NO TIME at all. Some now doing it in 40 mins flat. The gear / stats of remix are actually dumb to even be considered compared to anything in retail. How about suck it up and be happy a “special event” character is even allowed to become a retail toon for you to let collect dust since you probably will not even know how to really play it without all your special gems and trinkets.
The expansion drops ilvl 400-408 at the start. Youll be fine in 467.
Terrible analogy.
But made me laugh.
you won’t really be replacing it until around 75 ish more than likely.
Leveling from 70-80 is only like 4-5 hours at most from what people have been saying, so you’ll still replace it day one ![]()
It took a solid 9 hours (to hit 80) when I did it, but I guess that depends on how sweaty people decide to level.
I know a lot of people won’t be hitting it day 1 since you can’t just blitz the main story and hit 80.
