I mean Vanguards is a monster at the spec. To the best of my knowledge he was the only ret on NA servers to get R1 in BFA s2-3-4. But, the pure randomness of the games is hilarious at that level.
This literally happened to me on my monkâŚi took 35k dmg in 2 gcds. It actually caused me to cancel my sub.
This game is trash.

I read all this stuff and it just blows my mind how much of an arrogant pricks some of you are. Jesus tap dancing Christ. How can anyone defend this? In what world is this normal? I am a noob undergeared ret and it is absolutely disgusting damage. Before this i have never been able to solo 4 people in a bg. Before this never in my life have i literally instagibbed someone. There is absolutely no excuse to have this in the game. JuSt PoP dEfEnSiVes - anything outside of immunity is useless. The paladin in the video did 150k damage in 7 seconds. And not only rets - mages, convoke, anything - Damage this high is not normal, itâs not fun to play as, itâs not fun to play against, only because 0.01% of players with coordinated voice and championship background can SOMETIMES deal with - does not make it ok.

Divine Toll and Convoke are some of the most poorly designed abilities in the game. Itâs funny too bc plenty of people talked about Ringing Clarity etc in the beta, but nothing was done. Surprised? Iâm not.
Also, blinding light should break on any damage. The fact that it doesnât from holy dmg is beyond dumb lmao.

this type of damage is just too common, which is why i have barely touched arenas outside of gearing friends alts. RBGs are at least the fun bracket right now.

Play your Warrior in PvP then.
In PVP, NO WAY! Imagine having to use all your defensive CDs when the enemy uses all their offensive CDS, who could ever imagine? The Paladin didnât even bubble, the Druid could have easily cycloned when he saw the Ret popping wings, even the Shaman could have hexâd, they did nothing but stand there and die.
