I understood it awhile, ago. Just wanted to see how long you were willing to go ![]()
Sure, I’m not sure you guys know that bot/cheating/scamming tactics change and evolve over time. You might have an old idea of what’s going on.
The burden of proof is on you to prove that Bots are paying for accounts. I can prove (MULTIPLE TIMES) that they don’t.
I’d like to hear the proof.
Sure, scroll up.
EDIT: I realized my wording was poor. I meant to say I’ve already proved (multiple times) that they don’t. All you have is “well, they improve their methods”, when IK they improve their ways of trying to not get caught (which is why you may see the same bots, all of the time), but that doesn’t mean they’re now paying for accounts.
All of the spam in-game mails and group chat invites is ways for them to steal accounts.
The only proof you provided is you admitted to getting scammed while trying to cheat. The rest is just opinion and saying I don’t know anything. So you give data from ~2009.
Wrong about the “cheating” thing. IDK why you keep saying that I was “trying” to cheat because I wasn’t. I (again) genuinely thought it was Blizz.
And, it’s still relevant because they’re still using the same methods with their in-game mails and group chat invites.
Activision doesn’t hand things out for free.
I agree with that. What does that have to do with anything?
Well isn’t it obvious you were trying to cheat if you knew they don’t give out things for free. You seem to act like you know how things work but you fall for the same things?
No, it’s not. It’s obvious that the scammers worded and TIMED it, perfectly for me to genuinely believe that I was getting my Zhevra Mount due to a possible glitch in the Blizz system.
Falling for the same things would mean making the same mistake over and over again. Considering, it only happened once, I can’t possibly fall for the same things, over and over, again.
I forgot, it’s never your fault! Lets blame someone else.
Yeah, like how you keep blaming Activision for Blizzard’s mistakes. It’s really weird to be honest.
activision owns blizzard
Who am I blaming, here, exactly?
I am just saying it’s never your fault.
Blame anyone else just not yourself.
Well you have nothing at all to back that up, but you did use vector so ![]()
Back to being sarcastic, again, huh?
I believe this was posted on either the wow forums or another during that time it was happening. It was widely known for that era as they were giving out warning never to have the same account name and password for both. There is still articles about it in old wowhead pages.
Blizzard does nothing with any of their games.
