I’m sorry, but I don’t tolerate people calling other people such things as disgusting, freaks, mental cases, drug addicts, etc. That is true intolerance. Me ignoring their intolerance is me allowing them to say their part without me getting involved. If I mute a thread, it does nothing to the thread nor the people in it. They can continue to have their discussions. I simply don’t have to interact with intolerant people who are extremely disrespectful. Others can do that. So no, you’re wrong.
No one believes you listen to every argument fully and take their position seriously. Nor should you.

Also I kept my word sort of I wasn’t gone for a week I was gone for an entire month however I broke my word when I said I was going be gone for 3-4 months didn’t expect to be back so soon. Not all topics are muted because they are spam. Heck I have muted some of the more active threads just because the topic being discussed is not interesting to me. This way those topics are not taking up space for something else to show up without me having to scroll down.

The funny part this time is probably 80-90% of them aren’t even mad about the change that’s happening.
They instead invented a scenario in their head about what this could cause, and they’re mad at Blizzard for something they made up in their head.

Yeah I agree with this. At the end of the day I dont really look at someone for there character. Ive even thought about just making a lvl 10 character to use on forums once in a while.
Cause most people associate body type with gender. I struggle with this as well, even though I can see the logic of how body shape =/= gender.
It’s difficult to tell people to dismantle that traditional association, and people have a habit of not liking being told what to do, even if presented with new information, so them freaking out and going off into the entire culture war/politk freakout is a given.
I mean, I think it’s ridiculous, but it’s not surprising.
The real problem in all this is that model design in WoW is distinctly gendered, so IMO they should’ve only implemented this when they had alternative body types to present for all the races. E.g. skinny Humans, muscular Nightborne etc… this way it’s easier for people’s brains to realize that body type is simply just that, and this isn’t a gender war.
