Release date: Z. trolls and KT humans. When?

I’m wondering if anyone knows an exact time when you’ll be able to create a Zandalari Troll or Kul Tiran human?

The lack of a definitive answer is frustrating. Even something as simple as ‘the option opens up as soon as you complete the new raid and war campaign’ would be fine. I can attach my own dates to that depending on which difficulty I do for the raid.

But right now there is no real information. I would love it if we could get a Blizzard answer on this but if anyone has an answer with a source it would be most appreciated. I imagine I’m not the only one curious about this.

First things first, 8.1.5 IS NOT RELEASING THIS TUESDAY

8.1.5 is the patch that will include the Zandalari Trolls, Kul Tiran Humans, and The Crucible of Storms is likely to release in March or April.

These races have three requirements to unlock:

  1. A Nation United/ Zandalar Forever
  2. Proudmoore Admiralty/ Zandalari Empire Exalted
  3. Tides of Vengeance War Campaign 4/4

Doesnt matter. The whole time gate rep grind crapfest is old and im done soon. Waiting for classic to try it out

Supposed to be sometime after the second raid release, which I thought was this coming week.

This is what I’m talking about. There is no answer that anyone knows. There even seems to be several different answers.

Whenever the 6 month subscription runs out from that mount deal they ran back in October.

They haven’t given an exact release date, only that they’re supposed to come sometime during season 2 of BFA content.

If you look at some PTR gameplay of both races theyre both missing things that will need to be implemented before they’re released on live. I wouldn’t get my hopes for anything before late February at the absolute earliest, but I find it more likely we’ll get them sometime in March.

Guess #1: 02/19.
Why: Last day of the raid schedule, just in time to unlock the new allied races; plus perfect date for WoD Timewalk, which comes with the patch, since this would be the week for TBC Timewalk in current schedule.

Guess #2: March. Making it three months after last patch.

They will be available when 8.1.5 releases. Nobody outside of Blizzard knows exactly when that will happen. It just went up on the PTR last week, so the best estimate we can give is 6-8 weeks from now.

Once they can figure out how to add it to the Store without it affecting the declining stock.

That’s false.

This week we are getting BFA Season 2, which includes the Raid and the new PvP Season.

8.1.5 is when the Zandalari Trolls and Kul Tiran Humans come out. The release date is currently unknown, but based off of the Legion/BFA Patch Cycle, we will see 8.1.5 release in March or April.

I said, I believe the raid comes out this week and the original announcement for the two new allied races said sometime after the raid release.

At least I am fairly certain that is what I said. Will go check.

I know. What I am saying is that the “Original Announcement” is no longer true. It is not “some time” which many would consider to be at least a month. We are getting these races a long time after release of the raid.

After the raid just means after the raid. It could mean after the raid or it could mean a month or two. Is that lawyer speak or advertising speak or a clever mix of both?

A year ago the Zandalari were supposed to be out at launch. That was actually the original official announcement. Which is borderline false advertising imo.

This. A lot of people seem to be confused. 01/22 is start of Season 2, not patch 8.1.5.

Patch 8.1.5 is coming SoonTM. But since it just hit PTR, I’d wager sometime in March.
