It’s the FF14 expansion release date. We got the Broken Shore patch the same day as FF14’. So why not Classic on a FF14 patch day too.
Might see the Alpha release in early summer, maybe even in May.
Oh yeah, there are pin heads who think the proof on concept shown at BlizzCon was an Alpha, but that is why they are pin heads.
If they’re not even to an “alpha” stage yet for beta, there is no way they would have announced a summer release.
