To this day if a trial gets a mount drop in mythic what do you think happens to it? Do they get to keep it? They are to trade it and if they don’t they’re black listed. Lots of long forum drama about that and other things all the time. Search if you don’t believe me.

what do you want blizzard to do? this is a playermade issue

when i join guilds no one talks till raid days people play with their 3-4 friends for m+ questing world questin etc so again what can blizz do?

Lots of guilds exist. As chat rooms for most, who end up pugging, and a place for the clique of the guild to congregate. Its not that guilds aren’t there. Its just for most people they’re irrelevant because of their guild lol

You mean the trail who didn’t put in the effort to make progress just comes along to farm after the hard work doesn’t get the reward how shocking and unfair.

See your attitude? That’s why things are the way they are. Casuals whined about that attitude and then guild stuff got bodied. I have no opinion of it either way but the “the guild is more important than any one person” thing is why casuals cried until it was nerfed. I did a trial with a heroic guild in legion. They gave me literally everything that dropped that I could equip. I’ve told the story over and over again. Casuals and raiders respond to it very differently. For a reason.

I fully support 100% guild group master loot BTW. But that’s not what they want. They want to be able to do carries and still do master loot and we all saw what happened with that in legion

Yeah we do hand out gear to trials that never been an issue but when you have 19 people who have turned up every week for months progressing to get the raid on farm for trails to come along too and get funneled gear cry about a mount going to those who actually earned it I have no sympathy or respect for you. Yes the guild is better than the individual person this is why we do trials not just to see if the player is even good but a personality check and to see of they will mesh with the guild as a whole. The individual player is nothing its a group activity

That attitude goes against how most people who play feel. Raiders and especially mythic raiders are such a minority that blizz threw you all under the bus because people couldn’t be trusted in lower content. Ninjas and things on reserve all make casuals pugging heroics mad.

No master loot, no incentive to be in a guild, and overused cross server/sharding has killed the social aspect of WoW that made it so good.

If I was trialing with a guild and got the mount; it would go to whomever was next on the list or whatever system the guild was using.

If I want to be in that guild; I need to play by the rules of said guild. If the rules don’t fit with me then I’m off to find a different guild…

If you want to see some real hilarity go read the “pls bring personal loot to classic” or ninja threads on classics GD. They have master loot and the casuals who pug a slot in an almost full guid run cry as much there as they did before personal loot became mandatory in retail. Its dad but also hilarious lol

Its funny this whole mythic raiding is dead or the minority mind set people have when you do know more of the active player base has mythic raiding achievements than those who don’t you just need to look at wow progress to see this

I count mythic raiding as completing ce for a tier. Pretty much any collection of random people could kill the first few bosses. If you can’t clear them all you’re posturing at being a mythic raider not actually one.

Not everyone cleared kj in tbc but many guilds raided or are they not actually raiding and just posturing? What you consider to be a thing is not what the thing actually is mythic raiding is raiding at mythic level plain and simple

Let me rephrase. A GOOD mythic guild does more than a few bosses. If people are clearing 4/x or whatever and taking the game super seriously its posturing 100%. Its like mythic ashvane. If she stopped your progression for months and months imo you’re a heroic guild dabbling in mythic not an actual mythic guild.

Plenty of incentive already. You are in a guild, there must be a reason.

That is what I found on classic - that is a terrible feature for a guild. I am glad they allowed people to have a game to play without a guild.

my own partner told me if ML was still a thing she’d ML stuff to me even if i died and didn’t contribute. XD she’s the GM. she’s also a serious business raider from way back. lol. there’s plenty of fair ML too though i imagine. it’s just the horror stories of the bad ones that created the disparity between mythic raiders and everyone else.

It isn’t even just the loot. It is about the ability to even raid. I leveled up a hunter in classic and every guild I joined already had enough hunters.

The game is a lot better with flex raiding and group finder.

hunters in classic are really only brought for tranq shot and nothing else. fury warrior, combat rogue, and mage is what people want 34753895739485 of in classic.
