I think it is a type of Roller Coaster.
The card itself sells for over $1,000 on sites like Amazon or Ebay. It’ll go from $1,000 to like $25. The same way Blizz killed the gold selling business by setting a price right, for the Token.
Same way I feel when a high priced retro game gets re-released and all the hoarders who don’t even play the games get all pissy. I thoroughly enjoy the salt. Even as someone who owns some rather expensive games.

Wasn’t there a bug that allowed spectral tiger to be duped? Or was there another reason why it suddenly flooded the market?

Yes, lots of cheap TCG mounts flooded the markets because of it. The dupes were never removed from the game either. Anyone screaming “my mount was devalued!” sure didn’t seem to care about the duping that let them buy the mount cheap.
