Forget all of that mentioned just allow that defensive to be used in the arena as is and that would be great. As shamens are known in PVP as “punching bags”
totally agree with this one
I started playing in BFA and noticed how reincarnate was not useable in arenas. To be honest, I think it should be useable within 30 seconds or so of dying, unless you’re the last one to die. Frost mages can get an 8 second immune every 30 seconds while shamans have a 40% dmg reduction every 90 seconds if you talent it. Reincarnate should be useable in arenas.
Sadly 20% hp is nothing in the current meta and it would be chewed through really quickly. You’d have to have absolutely perfect coordination to get anything out of it except a 2nd even quicker death.
Reincarnation is kind of the epitome of the effort blizzard puts into the shaman class. This spell has been basically the same since launch, with only very minor changes over the years like removing the reagent cost.
At this point the spell needs to be reworked or removed because it is a pathetic ability.
Considering reincarnation is an iconic ability, and shaman desperately need defensive improvements, I vote it be reworked into a proper cheat death mechanic. 6-10 minute cooldown. Upon death, the shaman becomes immune to damage and regenerates 20% hp per second for 5 seconds and then stands up. The shaman can stand up early if they choose. Something like that.
Honestly reincarnate should be a 5 minute cooldown, since it’s a ghetto bubble. And hell usable in arena LMAO
