Crafting and flipping are the most profitable ways aside from boosting. If you think farming Vanilla dungeons for gold is more profitable you’re either joking, trolling or just playing another game.
This is false. You have no idea what yourw talking about
No, it’s just for commodities, not crafted items.
Regional commodity trade fix a lot of problems. I think the biggest problem is the bot attacks on smaller servers screwing over casual buyers for long period of time. It makes playing on small servers for many play style impossible.
one of my servers i think Scryers legitimately had no fel iron bars. My other server forgotten coast had 500. I’d have liked being able to access those from scryers
Sure, Mr. Classic Player. Enjoy trying to move your Linen Cloth when you’re competing against millions of sellers and it’s all listed at 1 silver.
Boosting is by far the biggest waste of time x effort. You can make a killing doing flipping on the right server.
Commodities are also crafted items. All items that are stackable.
It’s not affecting gear, is my point.
It’s a terrible, terrible idea.
Regionwide commodities will kill the economy. Currently profitable markets no longer will be. It will be impossible to sell things like gems/glyphs/potions because of all the millions of players undercutting you all the time.
Low population servers are the only ones that may see some small benefit. There is a better way to solve the economical issues on small pop servers: Merge them with other servers.
High pop servers will see the their situation get worse, and medium pop servers with currently healthy economies will be completely and utterly screwed.
This is a terrible idea and it should never have even been considered.
Good luck with flipping when you try to sell against hundred people at a time.
It’s the most easy solution for problems on low pop servers, but yeah, no one at Blizzard wasted another thought about what would happen to sellers.
Great news for bots who can now make characters on low pop servers to farm unmolested while selling their herbs/ore/skins much faster due to demand from high pop servers.
Flipping works right now. If everything gets pushed to one AH, it’ll kill it. I welcome a change to the flipping meta.
Ad hominem. Worthless argument. You saying? Have you ever played on a low pop server? Having more potential buyers means i can sell that stack of fel iron ore or ghost iron now instead of it expiring. Learn economics.
You understand that the bots will not make anything if everyone’s forced to undercut one another, right? Like, all commodities will tank if bots continue to farm.
You’re not just getting buyers but also tons of other sellers.
I’ll buy your ore. All my alts need goggles
Hopefully cobalt and khorium become more affordable
Yes which means there will be an actual market price instead of 1 or 2 people who farm fel iron on your server
Obviously. Read above post.
