Hey I put in a ticket about 9 hours ago. I accidentally bought a race change token instead of faction change.. The time keeps growing and growing on my ticket. The self serve gave me a message saying “- A penalty was applied to this account too recently.” No idea what this could be but it’s very frustrating. I just want to change the race change token into a faction change if possible not looking for my money back.
If anyone could please help me that would be greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately tickets are just backed up right now, they handle all tickets in order, and there isn’t a way to escalate someone above other people who have been waiting. So have patience, they will get to you.

That’s not possible, they’ll have to either refund you or not.
As a side mention if there was a penalty applied they may entirely decline refunds at their discretion as your account is not in good standing, though you said you don’t know what so maybe it could be an erroneous thing too which the GM’s can check if they’re looking at your refund eligibility.

You might want to confirm you made your ticket to ‘purchase failure’ then update it to just have them refund the race change. Once this occurs you can purchase the faction change.

Thank you for the reply.. Appreciate it. My account is definitely in good standing and I’ve never ever done anything wrong. I was never banned or suspended in any of my games. The only thing I can think of is I applied a level 80 boost to a character recently? Maybe that put a restriction on my account somehow? Not sure but I’m able to play all my Battle.net games with no issues including WOW. Has me definitely worried though..

That should be fine. Just be clear what you want them to do which is refund the race change.
