No, I don’t want free gear, I just want to pay the updated price that was clearly planned before it was added to the vendor, but announced a week late, because blizzard’s communication sucks :slight_smile:

Putting aside the trolling for a moment, for anyone else reading this: Please understand that successful game design requires creating fair and consistent systems of effort → reward. Implementing systems and then making dramatic and unannounced changes to them a week after they’re implemented is very bad system management.

I pay a sub fee for a well designed game, I am by definition owed something.

As I’ve said in my OP, the changes are overall positive and will encourage healthier PvP, but the timing on the cost reduction has invalidated many hours of BG grind, unfairly.

If you wanted the gear at a reduced price, why didn’t you wait and just ask them to reduce the price?

This is in no way Blizzard’s fault. And by the by, if you’re going to ask someone for a favor, you probably shouldn’t insult them in the same sentence.

The sub fee only entitles you to access to the servers. Nothing else.

As with another moronic comparison above, this is not even remotely close to this situation.

Kara attune removal was documented in original TBC, came many months after it’s original requirement, announced weeks in advance and didn’t affect current phase content.

welfare pvp gear is documented in TBC and until you own Blizzard, you’re just gonna sit here and take it

Welfare PvP gear changes never affected CURRENT SEASON gear and were never implemented 1 week after the original availability.

I’m fully aware that you’re here just funposting, and you’re one of the more creative ones in this thread, the replies are entirely for the benefit of any other readers here.

Thanks everyone for your support so far, rapidly approaching 100 likes which is huge on a forum like this.

Blizzard, there is a clear mandate for refunding these marks, your players are feeling abused and frustrated with the terrible planning and communication of sweeping changes to game systems.

Please, continue trying to improve the game, but just TALK about it more, we want to know what you’re planning even if it’s unconfirmed or in early stages… 1 day of notice on reducing the costs of 1 week old items is totally unacceptable.
