Reduce the amount of healers in RBGs to 2 max or 1 even

With the current stranglehold that healers have on LFG I’d suggest some adjustments along with my suggestions to update LFG in an earlier post.

Reduce the amount of healers in rbgs to 2 max or 1 even. This would make hybrids and prot paladins more valuable and sought after for rbg sustain.

Waiting for healers has gotten too ridiculous. All classes are dps, only 5 can heal. The current healing population can’t sustain the dps population with the game the way it is now. Therefore healing slots in RBGs should be reduced to 1 to make up for the amount of dps players playing the game. It’s always the same story in lfg 6 dps waiting for a tank and healer… END THIS. Just have us wait for 1 healer and open up slots for dps.

Make the rbg life tolerable for us. Only needing to wait for 1 healer will make groups way easier to form. Please change this.

That’s up to the players. The game does not require you to follow a 1/3/6 formula.

Is this your sneaky way to get the devs to give Rogues more heals?

It should be more a case of people’s willingness to fulfill the role, than classes that can do it.

Notwithstanding, the state of affairs did, and does, leave too many dps outside the sandbox. While you could run with fewer healers, it comes with putting yourself at a disadvantage, thus I’ve found a general lack of willing participants for such experiments.

While it could help alleviate the issue, I’m not sure about the proposed solution. I’ve always hoped for a solo queue that were more flexible with the role allocations, and even class distributions, so long they are somewhat evenly matched.

If people wouldnt abuse healers, there would be more.

You’re a rogue. Just one shot the healer.

In what way? Just curious in your experiences.

this is one of those posts that just sucks the life out of internet space usage…because you can do that now. you can que up with 2 healers and grab a prot paladin or some kind of hybrid experiment. you can run 5 rogues, 2 healers and 3 pro paladins. there ya go. have fun!

I find waiting on a Druid tank is longer than waiting on heals.

Not to mention that games have been decided based on one team having more healers than the other. I would be happy if the queue system ensured that there were an equal amount of healers before the round started.

But a lower number would be preferred since you made good points about the healer population.

Yup you can play with non-meta healers and do fine, but not queueing with a guardian is awful.

The real change blizz needs to make is to help the other tank specs in RBGs.

‘Make RBGs 1 or 2 healers max’ sounds like the kind of idea someome who doesn’t know what they’re talking about would come up with.

Maybe you should just do more DPS.

Groups blamming the healer for not keeping them alive when they are constantly standing in bad, not doing mechanics. People in BGs blamming healers for losses when they are not peeling, not once. Name calling, passing the buck, expecting healers to be the beginning and the end of your groups or sucess or failure. Telling healers they are bad but you dont have the guts to roll one yourself and deal with added responsibility.

Heals arent just playing against the game, they are playing against everyone in the grp/raid.
