in PVP its particularly bad, i just got out of an ashran where i was unable to play my character a solid 20 seconds, this isn’t fun.
Good luck with that. It’s been a problem almost as long as the game has existed. At least there’s some DR now. A warlock used to be able to fear you literally forever.
didn’t feel like there was any DR in the game i was just in, maybe its bugged, but i got stunned 5-6 times in a row and thats not supposed to happen
Is the only time CC matters, outside of time warping back to Cata Heroics.

With proper chaining, you can sit unable to participate for a long, long time.
normally i would just say they should make all CC one school so there is only 1 DR to worry about, but i seriously got stunned well more than 3 times in a row in this ashran. basically anytime i was not in IBF or AMS, i was hard cc’d.
they are changing it in midnight. now the dr makes you immune to that type of cc twice instead of three times. So two sheeps and its done for 20 seconds or whatever. also some stuns are being shortened to 1 second. thats super short!
Try playing a healer in Solo Shuffle, not only do you get CC’d out of games, but you will also get flat out blamed for the loss because the DPS are being zug zugging someone and don’t care to notice you can’t cast.
Blizzard thought process:
If the Arena Championship participants say it’s fine, then it’s fine.

I think CC atm is perfectly okay… I get put in chains at times and do the chaining as well.
You gotta talk to your teammates and coordinate use of cooldowns properly, you shouldn’t be getting stuck in CC for “20 seconds.”
It’d be nice if they switched from hard cc effects on stuns and fears to softer cc that only partially disables your character.
Make stuns disable any instant spellcast abilities, 50% movement speed,50% miss chance on all melee strikes and 25% longer casts.
Fear makes it so you cant move towards or target the person who feared you.
Ice trap makes you rooted and unable to turn your character.
Blind makes your actual screen go black, but you can still use your abilities.
Hard CCs that disable your character completely suck. Making them all soft where only parts of your characters toolkit or capabilities are disabled would be much funner imo.
