The Redscar Legion
Posted in prominent locations in Horde cities:
The Redscar Legion welcomes Horde members ready to face any threat against the Horde or Azeroth. We are a warband of veterans, mercenaries, and loyalists who know better than to let our guard down. The armistice with the Alliance may hold for now, but scars remember what peace forgets, and we will be ready if this peace fails as it has in the past.
If you’ve got the strength to fight, the sense to survive, and the will to stand for the Horde, then you may have a place among us. Whether your grudges lie with the Alliance or with other enemies of our people, you’ll find no shortage of purpose in the Redscar Legion.

LORE
The Redscar Legion formed in the uneasy quiet that followed the latest armistice between the Horde and Alliance. Its founders were veterans of too many wars to count: soldiers, assassins, and spellcasters who had bled for the Horde in conflicts from Ashenvale to Dazar’alor. They were not zealots or warmongers, but realists who knew peace with the Alliance was not a lasting guarantee. They bore their scars proudly, the red marks of survival and betrayal alike, and swore to be ready to face any enemy of the Horde.
Operating sometimes beyond the sanction of Orgrimmar’s politics, the Legion is a warband of pragmatists and loyalists, fighters who refuse to let their edge dull. They take contracts that keep them sharp: hunting dangerous beasts, retaliating against enemies, dangerous rescue missions, or striking preemptive blows against threats to Horde lands. Officially, they’re “mercenaries” working in Horde interests. Unofficially, they will do whatever it takes to aid the Horde.
To the Redscar Legion, the Horde’s survival depends not on treaties or councils, but on strength, unity, and readiness. Every scar tells a story, a warning carved into flesh that peace is only ever the pause between wars.
DRIFTWATCH VILLAGE
Driftwatch is a fishing village on an island off the coast of Kalmindor, near the border of Durotar and Azshara. Residents of the haunted village were disappearing or turning up dead. Redscar Legion was hired to find the source of the problem and deal with it. They discovered a naga sea witch and defeated her in battle. Unfortunately, she got away before they could eliminate her permanently, but the village has been at peace. In their gratitude, the villagers granted control of the land to the Redscar Legion, both as payment and for further protection in case the sea witch should ever return.
Now, the Redscars call Driftwatch their home. Any guild member is welcome to claim any unoccupied plot and build a house there. The Redscar Legion decides as a whole when to invite other people to visit with their vendors and jobs for hire.
