Around the start of the month I changed my region from the US to Taiwan. I have been able to purchase things and access account settings just fine when the account region was still set as the US while I was physically in Taiwan.
After the region change I’ve been having issues where attempting to purchase anything or access account settings redirects me to the KR account battle net page and asks me complete my account by inputting a National ID despite not being in South Korea (I’m still in Taiwan).
I am not using a VPN, and clearing my cache, deleting cookies, and resetting my password doesn’t fix anything. The problem persists across different devices and browsers as well as on the mobile Battle Net app.
Any ideas on what can be done? Has anyone else had this issue?
The system gives you web pages based on your region. At the bottom of most pages is an option to change the region. You should be able to change the region to NA and access the page you need. You will likely have to do this for most pages, every time you access the page.
I have an EU account as well as NA. For everything I do for it I need to change the individual web pages to EU.
Just to clarify, are you referring to the globe icon with the display language next to it? Whenever I click on it and set it to any other language, including English (US), it still redirects to the KR account battle net page.
