Itā€™s an incredibly weak offering. It isnā€™t actually meant to reel in a player that has quit playing. Itā€™s just there to sell more accounts to people that canā€™t live without every possible mount and pet and mog.

There are a lot of people who are going to make use of it, itā€™s just that none of them are returning players, this is essentially a 200 dollar cash shop package.

Am I the only one who recruited someone this month and the recruited friend account is not eligible, because theyā€™ve been recruited for over 7 days ago (which is 13)? Being more flexible for the first month of this promotion would be truly appreciated, especially considering how it was handled communication-wise when it first was announced (which is at 8.2.5 launch).

Thatā€™s a shameā€¦I liked the level grants. No level grants, 50% xp (used to be 300%), feels like its not for leveling anymore. Just a cash grab for the rewards.

I recruited a friend last year, and we both still pay and play. I donā€™t see them in my RAF list.

  • Does that mean that my old RAF is now voided?
  • Can my account get added to the new system?

I like the rewards, and donā€™t mind that they are tied to an ongoing subscription.

Quite pissed over the 7 day cutoff to link accounts though. I donā€™t often have the pleasure of having new friends join up, but i DID this this month. 18 days ago. Literally in their 1st month of a new subscription due to ME, but I am not currently allowed to benefit from this program.

This is something I think Blizzard can and should fix.

I still cant figure out what to do after clicking the copy link button on the recruitment tab. No window pops up after clicking it.

I understand that. But how do you copy the generated code to send the email to my friend? Figured a window of some sort would pop up that would let me copy the code to send. What I mean is where do I find the code to send after clicking copy link?

Wont let me from in game. I see the code when I hit copy link, but cant copy it. Idk never tried to copy paste anything while in game before.

Once i clicked copy all i had to do was navigate out of wow, and right click and paste and it showed up, sorry im not tech savvy and thats the only way i know how to describe it. Pressing the copy button works the same as if you highlighted and copied something you wanted to paste somewhere else and all i had to do was paste, and it showed up.

So more important to me is does RAF still speed up leveling for friends like it used to or is this just a promotion to get me to get bliz subs at no benefit to my friends on leveling speed?

This really appeals to me. I love archaeology and explorer stuff!

I have to recruit myself though. Oh well, another $15 a month isnā€™t that bad, plus you get free game time a few times.

itll end up being 180 im already at the first 4 rewards just got to wait until the 21st for new link to get the next 4, and by then ill be able to add another month to the first 4 i made so on the 21st ill be getting 8 more rewards
