Reasons You Play WoW

I love the Art in the game and it’s Disney/Anime style, no other game is better in my opinion.

I also love the feel of the characters…everything you do has a feel to it as you are doing which i find rare in video games.

  • All by myself… I don’t want to be, all by myself… anymore! Even when soloing, I’m doing stuff “around other people.”

  • There are not really “better” mmorpgs. There are different ones, but not really “better.” I like things about FFXIV, as well as ESO. Neither of them get me out of Wow, though.

  • I can’t be in Red Dead Online, on the Xbox One, ALL the time; Sometimes my horsie needs a break!

  • As with Red Dead Online, accomplishing stuff gets the serotonin levels going.

I love the lore, the art, and the music. Leveling alts never gets dull for me. I don’t do endgame stuff really, I just relax and have fun.

my brother is playing that game none stop, he says he cannot stand RDR on Xbox but on PC it’s next level… what’s so good about it I wonder?

Pvp is not balanced. What pvp you playing and on what planet? On WoW it is a disaster. Pvp is the most unbalanced content in all of wow.

I play wow with my friends. 2nd reason is well I don’t have one.

I like pvp so that’s what I’m doing now. I really like Korraks Revenge as it allows me to level all the toon’s I’ve neglected.

Another reason I play is because every now and then you find something ingame that’s a surprise and kind of a message of sorts.

Like today I used the Transmorpher Beacon, that toy that lets you change your appearance and I became a spacegoat with really big boobs, I mean huge boobs and her butt was showing a bit and she was dressed like a hoochi mama with weird hair and everything.

That made me wonder what Blizz thinks of the spacegoat girls. hm.

Ease of access. Even when I am not really into the game, I find it easy to log in and mess around for 15 minutes getting something done. I find Wow is just much better at this compared to other mmorpgs.

I’m still ok at it just from muscle memory, which is very nice when I’m too tired or drinking too much.

It’s also cheaper than games I play or have played that require tons of DLCs to be complete products and don’t have the same replayability.

When I looked at this I had to look at the date. If this was a necro topic.

But it wasnt now Im more confused.

I have it for PS4 but haven’t tried online. I’ve done GTA online and I assume it has a similar audience. Is that wrong? Because that GTA online crowd makes wow players look like Sunday school children as far as toxicity is concerned.

I just uninstalled and quit wow today but I got 18 days left on my sub.

SUP BOIS

Reasons why I quit wow:

  • Trash class design and gameplay
  • Trash endgame systems, nothing feels rewarding. It’s all a collectathon/mount farm/xmog farm/toy farm simulator that keeps the whales hooked/addicted.

cant wait to see a better game you can make, ill be your first subscriber

It’s easy and diverting. (Both WoWs).

The people who post on the forums are all lunatics. I love them.

familiarity

nothing else keeps my attention (i prefer mmos)

1st thing that got me hooked during tbc is that I like the controls and how the camera works more than on other games. I can’t for the life of me play first person games and strategy games with diablo-like camera, and other 3rd person games feel like they have awkward camera positions (save this one and DAI, but single player games can’t be played infinitely even if I finished them like 20 times). I was so impressed I found a game where you could jump back then lol.

Secondly, I liked the medieval/ancient atmosphere inspired from D&D, even though we got space goats and space ships afterwards, it blended pretty well with the rest of the story.

Nowadays I play it pretty casually on EU for transmog and mount hunting and just chilling around leveling druids of all races.

Sticking my head in Warcraft sand helps me relax.

I also enjoy meeting new people and talking in game, I’m very busy so I don’t get to socialize outside of WoW and the game really just fills all the voids in my life. :robot:

Though I’m not good at it, pvp is how I release steam from a horrible day at work.

I enjoy the game overall. Questing and visiting old expansions make me happy.

I used to play to get away from wife. Love her to death. Just need a hour or two a week for myself. Now she plays also. The other one was lore. That went out the window. Thus, not played sense 8.2.5 failure. Thus, the story changing every patch just got to me.
