Reasons to not play these classes

Just some Sunday fun, I hope people play what they really want to.

That said, we all know who the top three will be. Warrior, Rogue and Mage.

Give a reason to not play one of the above.

There’s a good reason to not play rogue: Draenei cant be them.

I think you may be in the wrong forum.

Warrior - Slowest leveling class. Easily kited by ranged classes.

Rogue - Squishy. Yeah you have massive DPS, when you’re alive. Not as powerful in 1.12 as previous times. Hunters will make you their *****.

Mage - You like being a vending machine? The best spec, fire, is worthless in the first 2 raid tiers. You won’t have a moment of peace with all the spamming of portal requests. Glass canon, high damage output, virtually no survival once you’re caught.Easily interrupted or silenced with no hard counter.

You’ll be a dime a dozen playing as one of those classes, and you wont be the unstoppable god you think you’ll be unless you’re sitting in high end gear.

Personally I tried a Warrior and just couldn’t get into it. It just felt kind of boring to me, which sounds weird given that I leveled a Paladin to 60 in Vanilla but I somehow found Warrior more boring than Paladin(even without knowing about AoE farming on a Paladin at the time).

You’ll be competing with a ton of people for gear.

Leveling sucks and once you hit end game as a tank you press 1 button (of course theres more to it, just making a joke to the whole rend to keep threat up)

Your competeing in a raid against 400 other rogues.

Glorified vending machine, who gets 0 respect and your there for food and portals.

Warrior: Miss, parry, miss. Guess you’ll die?
Rogue: Kicked from guild for spending all day ganking lowbies instead of farming your consumables.
Mage: Player controlled drink vendor.

It’s more fun to be a Warlock. Every terrible thing that happens in warcraft was some Warlock’s doing. Only Warlock can save you, and his bag of soul shards (aka opposite faction members).

Everyone likes a good underdog success story right? But lots of players want to be the big dog too. Decisions.

I’m maining a druid since that’s what Ive mained since the end of wrath. Being able to do a little of everything on 1 toon is very advantageous.

I can be all 3 of the top classes on the same toon. Plus I can heal so druids > warrior, mage, rogue in that regard at least imo.

Either because they’ll be the most popular class and you like to go against the grain, or they aren’t your personal preference.

Can’t speak for Warrior or Rogue, but Mages are shoehorned into spamming Frost Bolt for the first 2 raids. Not that big of a problem for me, though.

Warrior: you will be relegated to tanking in most raiding guilds.

Rogue: idk, too dependent on CD’s when PvPing and that’s it.

Mage: everyone will be asking for stuff from you, buffs, water, portals.

Blizzard: Welcome to the World of Warcraft, how tough are ya?

Warrior: I leveled to 20

Blizzard: Yeah, so?

Warrior: I only wanted to headbutt a screwdriver 999 times

Blizzard: Right this way

They arent death knights

They can’t heal.

So if you want to heal there you go. Other than you’ve got the only real tank and 3 of the best dps classes.

death knights can heal, they may be a bit selfish with their healing but they can still heal

Combo breaking my own thread.

In defense of the Warrior class, if it wasn’t such a hard road to being a geared 60 it wouldn’t feel so damn good to chop fools. You earn that sh!t, trust and believe.
