Yeah, we’ve got a lot of stuff like that. It’s been almost 20 years, I think it’s about time Blizzard figures out how to make varying robes that don’t cut legs off.
I think this is what most of us who want bikini armor are asking for. More choices. Skimpy for male and female toons; full coverage for male and female toons. Plain and simple, ornate and glowing and covered in spikes. A bit of variety, if you please.
One of the many things Im loving about ESO is the transmog (outfit).
OMG…they are soo freakin cool how they do it.
Even crap can look good with the dye that makes it all look like a matched set.
The transmog systen in SW:ToR is really good, too. Set up what you want, pay the fee, and you’re done. Even if you get a gear upgrade, the appearance doesn’t change. The dyes aren’t bad but some armor pieces do not dye well at all.
And also, you can save multiple sets at the same time. One push of the button and you switch. My Republic trooper has multiple appearances based on the planet she’s one. Desert one for Tatooine, forest/jungle for places like Yavin, etc.
There are some really fantastic armor sets in the game. And yes, you can dress up like Princess Leia in Return of the Jedi. Even the guys can be bare-chested if you want.
Boy would I love to see what the art team could do with permission to -completely- rebuild the decade+ old “Caverns of Time” area.
Make it all “Infinite Time Reaver/Corrupt Nozdormu” themed. Make it a zone under constant assault, put Chromie and Zidormi in a shielded bubble and able to portal people back in time to all the various ‘previous versions’ and repeatable content they both govern.
Make it THE Time Walking nexus instead of having each expansion’s timewalking quartermaster spread out all over.
Heck I wouldn’t mind having to endure a longer travel path than before, as long as it goes to fresh new content.
It could be like an addition to the portal room even but in a more round rotunda way with alcoves for each time period, I guess similar but smaller that Shatt, but the look. Might not work off the portal room, because even though these are suppose to be magical places, at some point you have to wonder just how big can you make the inside of those places. Guess we could just ask the Doctor on that one.
Hmm, however, that would actually funnel people into one location again as the current portal rooms do. Instead of having to go to the places those things actually took place.
Oh, “something” has already happened. A number of players have washed their hands of Blizzard. I’m just wasting time on my final sub. Helping guildies, helping friends. Then I’m gone. I get abused enough by my cat. I don’t need a game developer to abuse me as well.
It could have been a win. All they had to do was put in the portal room AND put all the portals in it that were scattered all over Orgrimmar/Stormwind. Why did they remove the portals from Dalaran? Why did they have to remove anything?? It’s like 1 step forward, 2 steps back with this dev team, and it’s been like that for years. I left, bought a PS4, and couldn’t be happier.
No reason to keep paying for a “game” that is actually a slot machine simulator with microtransactions and a monthly sub.
ABsolutely.
Aint no one was going to quit if the portals , INCLUDING the MoP outgoing portals in the temples, were just left the flip alone.
they COULD have just made the game BETTER and we’d all be bragging about playing the best game ever and dying to have our friends and family come and play.
My brother was actually coming around to trying an MMO for the first time. Him and his wife.
I had them sold on it being WoW.
Now Im telling him not to bother and its solely because I dont want his first MMO experience to be THIS crap with Blzzard/Craptivision going on.
The best “in-game riot” you can have is to not log in. Just uninstall, unsub and forget it. Come back in a few months, if the game is in a state you like, then resub. If not, then don’t.
That’s the only action these devs will understand. Smack them with your empty wallet. Let them know they did wrong.
Yep. Nothing was fixed by the removal of portals from existing hubs. Nothing was improved. Even the defenders can’t point to one single benefit of the portal removal.
All the devs had to do was simply add the portal rooms and leave the rest alone. You’d think that would be a no-brainer, but somehow these devs just can’t give us a silver lining without sticking a big old cloud to it.
