There is absolutely no reason for this. This is just BLIZZARD being BLIZZARD. If this was affecting gameplay, I could understand the decision but this is meaningless in the grand scheme of the game and is nothing but decision and metric designed to show people are logging on and staying on longer, when in fact, people are actually unsubbing or not logging on at all because of this type of idiocy.

Seems we have the same WoD team trying to get rid of countless subs again by taking away methods of travel that have been in the game for years.

Hopefully the Legion team is working on the next expansion and will add portal rooms to every major city in every expansion.

Or just put all the portals back.

The same team that made Legion(2nd worst expac ever IMO) made WoD and BfA, and from what I’ve heard, they’ll be working on the next expac as well. However, they have nothing at all to do with FF14 where my money went when I cancelled my sub.

This dev team’s war on flight has got them thinking they should remove portals now. Their war on flight has turned into a war on the players, the dev team will lose in the end, but they’re going to take WoW down with them.

They arent, Theyre playing the game and will only realize what happened when the change to the Dalaran portals goes live.
I see players using every portal in dalaran every time I am there, including the lower deck ones to Wyrmrest, etc
Im sure when they see they are gone now theyre just going to love it…and love Blizzard for taking them away for no good reason.

I agree with this. If they think the lashback is severe right now, just wait until it goes live. A lot of people do not keep abreast of what is upcoming, and when this hits, there are going to be a lot more players having a fit over it.

Thats the part that sucks.
They want to be petulant and greedy and WE lose a game they should never have been allowed near.

Because whose feedback is being ignorned? I don’t happen to have a problem with the portal removal so they are listening to my feedback. There are about 500 upvotes for the first negative reply. Even with the most pessimistic estimate of the number of people still subbed that is an insigificant portion of the playerbase. Which makes sense since it is unlikely that more than a small portion of the subbed players visit and interact with the forums.

My opinion, guess if you will, is that the vast majority of players won’t even notice, or will consider it a minor inconvenience at best. If one of them presents a major problem they’ve asked for feedback on why.

When I drag myself up to Legion Dalaran its still always hopping. I rarely ever go down to the 5 portals below and not see a few players using those ports.
It’ll be eye opening all around when they realize theyre all gone now and they didnt know a thing about it.
I only even know about this change because after the MoP ports were removed I was trying to understand what was going on.
Most of those players probaby dont even know the MoP ports are gone now. They were busy playing legion and BfA.

The hysterical thing about this is in other threads Ive gotten suspended for using the world ‘childish’ when referring to the other side of the discussion.
Go back and read these few threads and see how many insulting adjectives have been used to debase, demean and deride OUR side and not a single one of them Id bet has been deleted or suspended.
Its ok to attack people as long as one agrees with whatever position the forum mods have here.

I explained why and what I asked to stop, and it is not stop giving his opinion. Asking a person to stop making personal attacks, putting words in my mouth and responding without reading is not an infringement on human rights.
