People are really dumb.
All the SoD servers were Mountain Time. Fits the best of all worlds and where data centers are.
I think they ditched the East/West thing a bit ago.

Mountain is acceptable.
Because they assume servers are still east/west which definitely was not how it was in SoD and unlikely how itll be now.
I think when they were up on Tuesday people saw what they were.

The server list does not tell you what region its in. You only know by logging into the server and checking the clock… which obviously we couldnt do.

Incorrect.
While the server names have yet to reflect the renamed names, it is quite clear in the Realm List that the Anniversary Realms are MST under the Timezone column. https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/game/status/classic1x-us

Vague at best.
You are looking at the online realm list, which I had no idea A. Existed for classic and B. Didnt know it was updated.
I was talking strictly about the in game screenshots from yesterday of the realm list, which does not in fact list the region.
Still hoping for a rp-pvp realm. Congrats OCE on getting a server!
