Really upset I don't get the Night Warrior look

That’s funny, as I can recall someone was complaining for the opposite reasons the other day saying you shouldn’t get them.

I agree though, you shouldn’t get them. My only Night elf is a Demon Hunter as well, I just plan to create an actual Demon hunter and do it that way. You don’t have eyes to do it, lorewise you can’t support it.

Wouldn’t your fel outshine the darkness then?

I’m not a lore nerd so i’ll leave them to argue the point, but you don’t have eyes anymore so your sockets which lack retinas can’t produce any light whatsoever, so maybe just accept it?

Besides, it’s ACCOUNT-WIDE. Your OTHER Night Elves will have the skin colour effect of black eyes, just obviously not your demon hunter. Kudos to Blizzard for not allowing DHs to have the effect due to lack of eyes!

Edit: Odd, my forum portrait hasn’t changed yet to reflect my Night Hunter eyes nor my new transmog that i altered to offset them… guess they’ll update character portraits soon.

You need to log out and log back into the Forums so your Character Profile updates.

Look. Even though you get an option with no blindfold at no point do you get an option with just empty sockets.

Because YOU DON’T HAVE EYES ANYMORE. They are burnt out, gone, kaputs. Sure not all demon hunters clawed out their eyes, just most of them. Bliz goes with the general rule.

Since Demon hunters do NOT have eyes on customization (just sockets with fel,or blindfolds) Your eyes are not able to be morphed into black orbs.
BECAUSE THERE IS NO ORB THERE.
The mechanics is that your eyes are just glow holes in the model, there is no “eye” to make black thus no nightwarrior eye.

Ugh so tired of the defaulting of character for posting. STOP CHOOSING THE LAST THING I LOGGED IN AS ON MY ACCOUNT STUPID FORUM.

I just did that and unfortunately, it didn’t work… booooo.

Things not working so shortly after a patch? Can’t be surprised. I’ll give it a few days and i’m sure that it’ll change and we’ll start seeing more black eyes soon!

I guess you could say that the OP can’t see the reasoning behind their move. He’s blind to the facts. He has no vision for lore choices. He literally has no eyes.

You actually DO get the eyes, however the green Fel fire overpowers them so they don’t show. If you look carefully from the side while sitting in the barber chair, you can see the dark eyes behind the green flame.

I haven’t tried this personally yet, but maybe find one of the hood transmogs that suppress the flames and see if the dark shows through then.

I mean its possible to get. You just need to wear one of those knew Kul’Tiran leveling hoods. They remove the blindfold and remove the fel from the eyes for some reason.

Dude, you have to have your EYES BURNED OUT TO BECOME A DH. That’s why you have spectral sight. There are no eyes in your sockets. Just fel energy. You are either blind folded or have the glowing burning aura of the fel in your face. You are not a true night elf anymore. Youre a demon hunter that is part demon… basically an allied race for 1 class.

People need to understand demon hunter lore. You gouge out your own eyes. You shouldn’t even have access to the skin tones. Becoming the night warrior is to be imbued with the dark side of the moon - in other words, imbued with holy energy. You should explode.

Or at least have wicked heartburn. Point being - demon hunters have no eyes to make black. Ya ripped 'em out.

You LITERALLY are an entirely NEW class with your OWN UNIQUE eyes and you’re complaining about…wait, what? Why?

You alliance players are so entitled. “Make PvP more fun for alliance players!” “Yeah, give us 5x’s the rewards horde players get so people will actually play with us!”
