That doesn’t excuse the action.
You can make up whatever reason you want, you are still being selfish and not just disrespecting your group mates’ time but the ones that come after.
Blame blizzard, tell people it’s not your fault, blame your group mates. The action is still inappropriate.
They leave even after they get the recipe they needed.
Just move em all to final boss problem solved.
Man. I had no idea the extra added bonus of this expansion was the massive influx of tools.
It’s a mentality a person has to be able to just kill a boss and ruin that opportunity for the dps who had possibly been waiting in queue for 30 minutes to join, that is terrible.
You are a bad person and you should feel bad.
Melodramatic much? lol
anyway i have to do the whole dungeon anyway because the brewmaster legendary drops on the final boss. which has drained a lot of my enthusiasm to keep playing because I get nothing in the dungeon that is an upgrade and the dungeon is neither a challenge nor fun to do on heroic.
So as much as I’d like to just kill the first or second boss and bail that isn’t an option for me. I don’t really care if anyone bails or leaves group after killing the boss they need either. Its their time and they can spend it how they want and it doesn’t really impact me at all besides a few seconds of waiting for a new player to fill their place
The other day after the tank left, and only the tank, the queue for another tank was 20 mins for us. Also thats on top of a 30 min DPS queue because Mages can only DPS
Funny thing I we tried to kick the tank because in De Other Side he was going Broker Boss first which everyone does Hakkar first unless they plan on leaving after their legendary or trinket drop then they do that first. Healer said nah I dont think he will leave after boss and another dps agreed, tank left after getting legendary and said peace out losers.
They need to have all of the legendaries from dungeons on the final boss since they aren’t guaranteed drops in dungeons.
If common sense politeness is melodramatic then I guess I am.
The selfishness of people today never ceases to amaze me.
It is not bad design. Low drop rates are there to keep people playing so it is working as intended.
The problem is the selfish players who have no respect for others. If you sign up for a dungeon you are saying you want to run it. If you only want to run part of it, have some consideration and let the other players know beforehand instead of dicking them around.
I can’t believe how many parents have done such a poor job at teaching their children basic human decency.

They need to have all of the legendaries from dungeons on the final boss since they aren’t guaranteed drops in dungeons.
imo the legendaries should have a chance to drop from every boss in the dungeon with a greater chance to drop from the final boss. then everyone is happy.
the current system is busted and encourages mindless grinding

No one leaving a dungeon early is an awful selfish human being for doing so. Their time is just as valid as yours or mine and expecting them to stick around for a 30+ minute dungeon just to satisfy you is kind of selfish and rude.
Again, blame Blizzard for the broken system that encourages this. Not the players having to work with it and make it as painless as possible for themselves.

Way to take a statement out of context just so you can be snarky.
I specifically stated that folks should show courtesy and finish the dungeons.
What a pointless comment. lol
No, stating people ‘should’ show basic human decency, then finger wagging at those who point out when folks fail to do so, preaching that they ‘dont get to dictate how others play’, despite the fact that their playstyle actively harms and wastes the time of others is the ‘pointless comment’ here.

I find it really hard to believe anyone has waited 10+ minutes for a backfill in a heroic dungeon.
Welp, I have. And I’m a healer. Sometimes 3+ people drop after a boss and that is a heckin long time in the queue to get it backfilled. I’ve had to give up twice after the 10-15min mark ticked past and I realized it’d be faster to just requeue.

Again, blame Blizzard for the broken system that encourages this. Not the players having to work with it and make it as painless as possible for themselves.
Nah, blame both. A bad system isnt an excuse to disrespect other people’s time and behave selfishly.

You signed up for the dungeon, you know the rules.
They didnt blind side you with " oh? I have to do MORE then one boss?"
You can try flip this all you want my guy, your still the one in the wrong.

What a pants on head stupid thing to say. It’s selfish for others to expect people to run the dungeon they signed up to run, but not to drop after the boss that has their lego? Get help cause someone screwed your head on wrong.

expecting them to stick around for a 30+ minute dungeon just to satisfy you is kind of selfish and rude
No, sorry. It’s selfish and rude of them to abuse the queue system instead of forming their own group. No one says they have to run full randoms. Just that they really should stop using randoms when they don’t intend to run the full thing.
Also worth noting, as I always do in these threads, that custom group finder has lots and lots of farming groups listed every time I look. It’s honestly just a matter of laziness and bad manners.
If they wanted me to do the whole dungeon then I’d get hit with a debuff when I leave after killing a boss. They don’t.
Again. Blame Blizzard for the system they’ve created. Not the people having to deal with it.
why are some of you so melodramatic about this lol.

I wish Blizzard would implement the same system they use in M+, don’t drop any loot until after the dungeon is completed.
If they do this then…
That last chest BETTER have the possibility of dropping you 1 piece of gear for each boss so if the dungeon have 5 boss you should be able to loot 5 items in that last chest if you get lucky.
Welcome to the start of an expansion.
The chest would have to contain nothing but a single living echo for the transmog quest or it wouldn’t be heroic dungeon loot
please let me know your ingame name or bnet tag so i can put you on ignore and avoid ever being placed in a group with you, thanks.
