I feel like there is an engineering item that does this also, am I correct? I took up engineering for DF, but I have not even begun to level it, or even level past expansion engineering skills. I faintly recall one of them having one but I could be wrong.
They definitely need to rework the reagent bag slot. It’s not bad for a 1.0, but specialty bag sorting, and being able to stick another reagent bag in that slot are both good ideas.
Hopefully they’ll fix this as the expansion develops.
Other games have done it better. If you are going to port in a feature it should be comparable not substantially worse .
I like the regent bag a lot, i just wish i could exclude the 25 different animal meats from it
The one where I bank mats I don’t need
checks the day
You’re early, OP.
How are people running out of bag space? (assuming based on so many comments complaining about bags being too small)
There are SO many slots now it’s wild. Vanilla wow’s largest bag slot was 18 (28 slot for specifically soul shards for Warlocks, 24 slot for most other professions which only held this materials). There was no reagent tab in the bank. There was no guild bank. There was no extra 4 slots from adding 2FA.
Each expansion expanded bag size again and again, even expanding the number of stacks some items can be and adding features like reagent bank tab and guild bank.
Now you have 34 slot bags (and a 36 slot reagent bag). Plus the four slots from 2FA.
4x34= 136 (your 4 extra bags)
7x34= 238 (your bank bags)
16+4= 20 (your default bag plus 2FA)
————————
394
98 (reagent bank tab)
28 (default bank space)
36 (the new reagent bag)
————————
162
That’s 556 total bag slots for your character, assuming you don’t gather ten (or eleven?) signatures to form a guild and do whatever you need to unlock the guild bank adding hundreds more slots.
Again, how are people seeing these bags and thinking, “these are too small!”?
They should really just give us 60-100 slot bags already.
It doesn’t always play nice with the reagent tab or reagents in your bank.
This has me questioning just how much stuff people are expecting to carry without ever going to the bank.
In theory you could carry something like 32,000 items in this one bag, just how much space do you all want?
Certainly if you do crafting in multiple expansions it’s nowhere near enough slots.
Reagent bags should double in size
the reagent bag doesnt open with the regular bags. I have an addon. wtf are you talking about??? I use like 48 addons.
In Elvui they all open in a single pane, including the reagent bag. Other add-ons do the same. Let’s not act like this is some novel concept.
I like it but they need to make bags that are like 100 slots like the bank bag. plus anyone else got that message about adding a bag not going away?
Let’s not act like Elvui isn’t the ugliest thing ever so why would I use it. Let’s not act like that’s some novel concept, to make your own UI.
That is a you problem. Making your own ui was my entire point, but thanks for playing. Lol. Enjoy the default ui, maybe blizzard will update it again in another 15 years.
I don’t use the default UI. Sorry you are having trouble reading. Literally nothing I’m using is default, nothing. You lose the reading comprehension contest for the day. Congrats!!! Bye troll.
I think they’ll eventually change it to just another bag slot. I mean, they stopped making profession bags for the same reason. The extra space is nice, but they get filled so easily and you can only use them for reagents.
Reagent bag was a great idea but being Blizzard it was monkey-paw’d.
Heres a new bag that will free up 32+ bag slots introduced the same time as increasing the number of reagents 300% - 400%.
I was hyped to have some breathing room in my bags for the first time in 6+ years which quickly turned to frustration as i now deal with a full reagent bag plus almost 2 other bags full of reagents of differing qualities and a 3rd bag stuff with rep tokens, currencies, and what not…
… net result, we are still having to micromanage our inventories every 10 minutes because the quality of life didnt really land like it should have.
