Can you give an example of this occuring? I came back during Legion and haven’t seen a single raid cutscene like this and legion was almost 4 yrs ago now.
I am sure that I will be just as invested in whatever new throw-away system they have come up with as I have been invested in the past and current throw-away systems.
Sadly you don’t know how right you are.
That’s why when I occasionally see those riding around on mounts or using gear you get from mythic I go “meh I’ll get it next expac when its legacy”
I try not to pity those who feel less or fawn over mythic raiders but sometimes I do because it’s just pathetic how they act like some mythic raider is a god.

Even when she was alive she bent several rules and disobeyed her father just to have her human boyfriend in the rangers.

Yeah if Blizzard actually cared about lore and narrative integrity, Sylvanas would be actually dead and remembered for the villainous traitor she was.

I came back during legions last 4 months. So the only example I could possibly give was mythic nyalotha. From what I recall there was extra cinematic scenes in mythic but most of it was cut out for the other difficulties.
I could be wrong but maybe its changed now, couldn’t say.
It makes me sad that she’ll prolly get off without having to face any real consequences to her actions. I’m not sure if I can stomach Blizz twisting their game around to make her the hero of this expansion, but it’s what I’m expecting.
Gods, I wish we could have just killed her. 
Idk… I think they’re at the top of their game right now. No other dev could quite possibly succeed at getting their player base to complain and threaten to unsub/unsub as well as Blizzard.
I fully expect a grind twice the length of chorthia at a bare minimum. Any less and I will be disappointed!
I am a little concerned that it will be a Patch filled with gimmicks and systems, and very little interesting lore.
I did a little Torghast to get a legendary on each Alt - but I haven’t upgraded past 235 on any of them. I might do that if I have free time, since Torghast was made more spammable.
I pretty much ignored Venari and the Catalogued research, as well. And was still able to get AOTC through pugging. So, luckily I have been able to play at a level I am enjoying, while largely ignoring these systems.
Nyalotha and the Cape upgrading was a bit more mandatory. Really needed that main stat proc. I hated the grind but I did it on 5 Characters, because it was very crucial to my Player Power.
I just hope I can continue to ignore these gimmicks, systems, and currencies, so I can have fun while I play.

I am very much well aware of how right I am. I respect Ion as a person and don’t think he is truly a mustache twirling villian, but he certainly has used his influence and position to make a game that puts no life mythic raiding tryhards first and foremost. The game has gone full tilt on trying to be an e-sport at the cost and off the backs of the casual who are the bread and butter paying to keep the game alive and paying for all the content they are routinely denied access to.

They still haven’t addressed us dks who wiped out all of the red dragons last clutch. That quest alliance get in drustvar doesn’t count.
Not that I regret it or anything but still something of a reference would be nice.

Honestly, i wish they just make up their mind which system to use and carry that one the rest of the way ans stop system make believes methods.
I’m back for the mage tower. I don’t expect 9.2 to be very compelling. I expect another bandaid system and more garbage RNG and boring grinds.
HIGHLY doubt I’ll be sticking around.
I tried to respect ion when I first heard he was a player too but over the years, more and more of his decisions that segregate those not a part of his no life, raid logging mythic lifestyle killed whatever growing respect i may have had for him.
Now I loathe him completely.
From what I heard, he is actually a has been more or less. Not nearly as progressed or seemingly plays actively as he used to.
Now the new Blizzard president…textbook definition of a no life tryhard. Even streams and brags about it and openly supports boosting. For WoW to even have a modicum of a prayer to return to a casual-focused game, there literally needs to be an entire leadership change.

dom geared expanded into diablo style runewords that let us borrow talents/powers from others classes using socketed runes.
e.g. warrior with shroud of concealment, rogue with death grip
What really? is that what you think they are? Well,i mean ,thrall mother is a warrior but does now do rogue?
The new rune system has already been decoded:
doesn’t matter how much you play as long as you keep that sub up.

Maybe I’m just getting old, but the game feels more, I dunno, bloated? overblown? something like that when it comes to almost anything. I do remember back in vanilla having to do stuff like attunements and needing reagents and that kind of stuff. But now it’s like 'if you want to do this, you have to do that, and if you want to do that you have to do this over here, and before you do this over here you need to collect currency from that over there, but before you do that you have to unlock this over here, but before you can unlock this over here you need rep with these people over here… and this is just, like, to get gear or other basic parts of the game.
