Pushing M+ right now feels incredibly hollow after a certain point. We all know the tangible rewards basically cap out around 3000 io. But if you’re actually pushing high keys and grinding to 3400 io, you know it’s a completely different game.
Hitting 3400 requires hundreds of hours of insane dedication. You’re studying routes, optimizing comps, practicing pulls, and dealing with the absolute nightmare that is pugging at high levels. And what do we get for sweating our asses off in high-end PvE? Absolutely nothing. The effort required goes through the roof, but the rewards just drop dead to zero.
What makes this so frustrating is that PvP players have had a solution to this for years. If you keep winning in arenas and fill the bar, you get a Vicious Saddle to buy old seasonal mounts you might have missed. Why is there such a massive double standard for PvE?
We desperately need a “Mythic Saddle” for M+. I’m not asking for free handouts here. If someone grinds their mind out to reach 3400 io in a current season, they’ve more than proven they can play the game. Letting a 3400 player buy an old 3000-rating mount from past expansions isn’t going to “devalue” anyone’s old achievements. Honestly, pushing 3400 right now takes way more blood, sweat, and tears than hitting 3000 ever did back in the day.
It’s time Blizzard actually respects the time players put into pushing high keys. The effort-to-reward ratio in PvE is completely broken, and it really needs to change.
