Re: Flask Abuse Bans

Youve obviously never even attempted Mag or phase 2 content. Retail is absolute faceroll difficulty outside of mythic.

Then again, we all know retail is a joke. I mean thats why youre here in the TBC forums isnt it?

We both know TBC is the better game and you just can’t stand that can you? That’s why you come here to troll.

Mag was piss easy.

And so far P2 isn’t that much harder, it’s mostly just getting the dance down (ie, learning mechanics)

These raids are at best around last boss LFR/Normal raid level.

isn’t that every boss fight ever?
Learn mechanics and down it?

Retail tends to have much higher healing/dps checks or much tighter mechanics checks.

It’s just the nature of 17 years of raid design, things get more complicated.

not gonna argue that but both games have their level of difficulty but you can’t really compare the games, every class basically does everything in retail, half the difficulty of classic is getting a raid comp up and running

Well, not exactly true that every class does everything, but logistics are definitely more difficult in classic.

Specially when it comes to things like shaman. I’m sure all raid leaders will give a collective sigh of relief when most things go raid wide in Wrath lol.

Plus TBC is very limited in what mechanics it can put in, when you compare raiding on retail you gotta also add in that every class has much greater mobility, throwing that into a TBC raid would just be impossible the most mobility some fights have is a safety dance, even still you’re just avoiding mechanics for a phase not even dpsing

Both are good games in their rights but both are also slowly dying with the lack of support or human touch from blizzard

I think ban or no ban for this, everyone can agree that people are tired of blizzard and their lackluster approach to releases of patches and attention to the general player base, they have a very Australian way of thinking “she’ll be right mate”

Eh, I wouldn’t say dying, at least not for TBC, we’ve been growing like crazy.

Though I don’t agree with all there pre-nerf raids though. Damage/health is fine pre-nerf but some mechanics were changed because they just weren’t fun at all, and those should be left that way.

Growing like crazy because for every bot banned another 2 pop out, hard to even find a pug for a heroic without having gold sellers trying to get in to get slightly more gear with their agility gemmed cloth pieces.

I meant our guild is growing.

Doesn’t matter if there’s only 50 people playing the game if I can do what I intend with it. Never really cared for all the “sub numbers”

If you look at older games that had online communities in a RPG setting you will see that many if not most of them die from internal decay. The talent and skill decay away and what is left is the husk of former imagination and vision.

I would say they are lying to you if they say they got banned. There clearly are different tiers to this one. I am seeing people saying they were banned for 24h, a week, a month, and 6 months.

So if your dude said I did it 5 times and got a month they are full of it and you should stop trusting them.

this isn’t the place for appeals. i suspect your guildies were told no through the appeals process. if that’s the case blizzard ISN’T going to change their minds.

Still think blizzard shouldn’t ban for their own failures right after a ptr.

i have zero sympathy for exploiters. also the game runs on a 32bit engine. it is impossible to go above the number 2,147,483,647. your guild members did something wrong now they handle the consequences. this what happens in the real world.

my version of justice is very vindictive and uncompromising.

If you leave your car unlocked, I shouldn’t be in trouble for driving off in it…

It’s laughable at the amount of people trying to justify this behaviour by saying things like “it should have been caught in the PTR” or “bots barely get banned.” So you’re unhappy because Blizzard isn’t doing anything about banning bots, but as soon as they take a step in the right direction by banning players who are exploiting suddenly you’re unhappy again because it effect you. You, who in your own mind, thought it was okay to do a wrong because other wrongs or oversights exist and that somehow justifies your wrongdoing. Brilliant.

Two wrongs don’t make a right…but three rights make a left.
