Rdruid loss of interrupt

…is in short one of the worst ideas I’ve seen them throw out. At no point should we have to watch a cast get off while our dps ignore it and not be able to do anything about it. Take away a stop, make it interrupt vs incap roar, interrupt vs ursols, interrupt vs typhoon, SOMETHING other than taking it away for the sole purpose of… why again? Give priests one while you’re at it, actually. It feels awful for a healer to not have the agency to perform a vital action when others of the same role have the ability. We can’t interrupt the ability and then we also get to deal with the consequences of said ability if it gets off. Even if blizz doesn’t think skull bash fits with the resto druid kit, give us a mini solar beam that interrupts once instead of continually. SOMETHING. Really unnecessary change imo. Mama Elune vetoes this.

The problem was that in most cases you had to make a lot of sacrifices and really lame talent choices (for a Resto Druid) in order to get to Skull Bash. It’s nice to be unleashed, and to be able to focus on healing.

LOL I DONT KNOW IF YOU GUYS REALIZE IT BUT RESTO HAS A VERY STRONG CC KIT. taking away kick isnt that far fetched. in an attempt to make healers less cd reliant resto will likely have great sustain healing and rely a lot less on spamming buttons and use a lot more cc. I dont think resto needs kick as it stands giving everyone kick was a huge miss on there part and was due to WA making it where they added 30 things to kick. when everyone is pruned and cc is more meaningfull with the DR change i doubt not having kick will be a huge deal for RDruid

Out of curiosity, DID anyone else lose an interrupt? I haven’t combed over the changes yet.

No but a lot of other classes are loosing other cc options, i think druid and evoker are the only class with a none pvp knock back now, the typhoon/ursol type combos were removed from other classes like hunter and mage so we’re the only non-grip displacement.
Lots of classes are getting their cc or defensives gutted, tbh id say we look about upper middle of the pack for 5 man utility; only really stopped from S-tier by roar being an incapacitate instead of a real stun.

Its weird theyre only taking it from resto and not even filling the gap with some boring place holder like a +heals or a DR against missed interrupts. Dont think any other class has an entire node just gone for one spec.

you dont need kick for pve, we have rake, stun, typhoon and clone. make the dps do it in dungeons.

Could do a single target “Solar Flare” version of Balance’s “Solar Beam” and jam it into the same spot where the other interrupt talents are on the class tree.

No. I want my friggin interrupt back.

I like being able to interrupt things that are otherwise going to wreck my entire party. I like being able to shut down problems in delves without having to juggle long cooldowns that don’t always work on lots of mobs that kick does work on. I like having some small level of control over success, which they repeatedly take from healers more and more with every expansion.

Sorry that you aren’t good enough to weave it into your healing. Those of us who are really like having it.

This change sucks. I’m so disappointed in what they’re doing to rdruid. I think this is the very first time, playing since Vanilla, that I have been bothered enough by a change to voice my unhappiness on the forums.

Yeah, this change is fine for high end groups. However, it’s probably a class change for me because it’s frustrating to continuously wipe on an important trash pack or boss where the one kick you must get off never gets kicked. I PUG alot, and I’m not willing to put all my eggs in one basket when several other healers have a kick.
